Time for a look at Der Blitz/Der Adler for DUST Tactics these are some of the coolest weird world war minis I've seen come out for the DUST universe and from the sound of things they are utterly deadly in game, but what do you guys think?

As someone who loved Airfix kits and loved the the Me163; this is possibly the coolest flyer model I’ve ever seen.
Add in great detail, it being pre-painted – even the canopy’s metal gubbins (I believe that’s the the correct technical term).
Colour me very impressed!
I also grew up making Airfix kits so I can’t help looking at Dust models and thinking. What’s the pointing in buying a model that somebody has already stuck together?
As a scale modeller, not so much. As a wargamer, though, I like the idea of having a game-worthy model right out of the box (especially one I can weather and customise at my leisure).
Agreed, I spend more time assembling and painting than I do gaming. Dust does have a certain appeal to it.
Also as someone who grew up building model kits… I’ll take a good prebuilt any day. I’m interested in the finished product and find the assembly part of things tedious, boring, and discouraging. I weep at all the time I could have spent gaming being lost. My hobby is gaming, not model building that I can also sometimes play games with. Unfortunately, most prebuilts suck. If I had the cash, I’d probably commission painters/assemblers for all my stuff.
Well we all like different stuff. For me building and painting is a huge amount of fun and a big part of my hobby. For some that fact that Dust kits are per build is a big plus, I understand that. I’m just saying that for me it’s a massive turn off.
Nice looking paint job, would love to see a demo of how they did the mottled camp effect.
Spray darker grays through a template with some small rounded holes in it – you are looking for something like the mottled effect on a grey horse. It was part of the WW2 Luftwaffe camouflage pattern.
when ranges for shooting is adapted to 28mm instead of 15mm ill be more than happy to resume my Dust spending 🙂
Unless they have changed, you got the rules completely wrong guy’s. Like all unit’s they get two Actions but can move 3 squares with each action or use one Action to shoot.
And BTW you can buy them pre-painted as well as shown in the vid.
I started collecting DUST when it first came out – but then got distracted (as we tend to do…)
If you start supporting the game here, I may be able to generate some interest amongst our club and actually start playing again.
Would you consider doing a similar unboxing for the Allied aircraft?
Man these look so cool I wish I had the funds for them right now, but I am saving up for Houston Comicpalooza. I go for the gaming and the guests.
Just finished watching this can someone tell me how that german camouflage was done and what colour paints were involved and how I can create it, would like that for my Stug G’s from my Flames of War open fire box set.
