No I just kept the flesh tone… well… flesh tone… I wanted my ALEPH Deva and Asura to look like really hi-tech humans (plus I can proxy them as post-humans more easily).
So it’s armour plates in white, cloth in dark grey and exhaust ports/lights etc. in pale blue.
I’m split between these and the Yu Jing Ninjas for being my favorite Infinity stuff…
When I saw the tech holograms on the fingers of some of the boxsets artwork I thought it was just photoshopped in, but you actually get them in the box! Thats a pretty cool feature I must say
I thought the same when they were released but truth is models win a lot in hand and other color schemes fit them better so that they look cool. Believe me it’s only a first impression due to the offcial studio scheme.
I see you went for the easy assembly of the Dakinis, that is a really useful tip and I advise it to all new players, if they cannot glue the shin guards open, as is in the pictures of the models, better glue them to the leg they look equally well.
I looked on the CB Homepage this morning, and I’ve to say, that there are so many beautiful miniatures in the Infinity-line, that I don’t know what to chose.
Aleph is great, but I like the Scottish men of Ariadna, and even the Panoceana have those futuristic Knigts stuff, the Ninjas and ahhh…. so many cool miniatures, I don’t know where to start.
Thanks to BOW I will never have a own house, but enough cool miniatures, to paint in the afterlife, so what do you think is better?
Between having a house or minis in afterlife, or Infinity factions?
Well you will not need a house in afterlife, minis remain cool thought, about factions? whoever you like the most, all factions in Infinity can be adapted to any play style or styles in their own unique way, there is no faction that has a single one minded playstyle.
It was about having a house or minis in afterlife^^
Thats good to know, that there is not just one way to play them.
At the moment it’s miniatures at all, but I’m sure there will be not only one faction of Infinity in the future, that will be found in my collection.
True, if you are speaking of proxies, but the specific model that came in the box has a Combi Rifle. You can use him with a boarding shotgun, but then he would not be a hacker, he would be a Minelayer. Only the Minelayer Nagas can have a boarding shotgun and then you wouldn’t have a hacker that you need to take your tacbots.
I picked up this box a couple of days ago and I didn’t get the plastic sheet 🙁
I didn’t find them that hard to put together and did pin all the arms and legs that required it. The only part that gave me some difficulty was carefully removing some of the small parts (like the tacbot shinpads) from the metal sprue.
Are these models too small to pin? How did you guys assemble these?
Sorry, I commented before the end of the video.
Superglue and a bit of milliput to hold the bits in place.
They were a nightmare, but they’re lovely when they’re done.
I’ve got some of them painted. You might just see them soon. 😉
BoW Andy
DId you use the “official” colours or go with something different. I would really like to see them painted differently.
I went with white, dark grey and pale blue (rather than the pink/purple effect).
Very nice, I was thinking a similar scheme, actually. Blue for the skin?

Very cool! I have always found white to be so difficult to paint.

Perfect, that’s just want a needed to hear! I think it is the slightly creepy skin tone that is throwing me off.
Now I may have to get some…
gah! CB dont take paypal, makes me a sad panda
How were the humanoid models to put together, Andy? They looked like they had a few less pieces than the drones.
The Asura was one piece and the Deva had a leg to stick on… easy stuff.
It’s the Drones that are a pain. They’re all spindly limbs and airplane wings, but once I got them stuck together they’re pretty solid.
I wouldn’t like to drop them on concrete, but they’ve already survived one bash.

Hard to build yes but the most beautiful army of infinity…….tu n’as rien sans rien.
BoW Mike
I think I’ve found my favorite army…

the drones look like Evangelions from Neon Genesis… over all i think aleph is my favorite faction…
The Nagas model has a Combi rifle not a boarding Shotgun.
But he can have boarding shotgun, so you can just use him as a (really close) proxy.
