4Ground: Backstreets of Mordanburgh – Unboxed
September 30, 2014 by lloyd
We're back for another look at the 4Ground Mordanburgh Terrain and this time they're delving into the Backstreets to examine what comes in these smaller sets.
Do you think you'll be picking these up for your fantasy township?

They really are nice buildings. One of them kinda reminds me of the old card building you got with Warhammer Fantasy 3rd Ed boxset but obviously much nicer. Out of interest, with the push together panels, do you reckon you could get clear plastic between the wood of the window frames for a glass effect?
By the look of things all of the pieces are a single thickness, and the windows sit in the internal wall plaster, so I would imagine so, maybe a very thin sheet of acetate would work?
@theterraintutor My first thought was you wouldn’t have glass windows in a hovel like this, then my brain kicked in and remembered they are fantasy buildings and you can have what you like. 🙂
I have some of their Dark age buildings and all the walls are made of two layers. If these are the same construction then yes you should be able to sandwich something between them.
I do like these building i just hope the 4Groud fill out the range walls and walkways would be great but so would some other place like the Blacksmiths/Merchant shops.
Ordered some after the last vid on them, awesome product and fit together perfectly.
This level of wonkiness in HDF is a genuine achievement. 4ground should be proud!
The 4Ground range is excellent. Well worth the expense and go together very well. As Lloyd mention once they are together they are pretty solid too
I love the 4Ground stuff but wish more were available unpainted (though it’s no big deal just to paint over the pre-painted bits).
They also make walls, carts, and a bridge, toilets, sheds, fencing, furniture, and even coffins, to go with the houses.
Absolutely love these 🙂 As I was watching the video I was sitting wondering how to fit them into some of the current games we’re playing *wants*
