Get Ready For Industria Mechanika’s Zero Mech!
August 4, 2015 by brennon
If you like the Weird World War theme and Japanese fighter planes then you'll certainly want to check out Industria Mechanika's Mitutake Nishimura Zero which is going to be available very soon indeed...
The Classic Revamped
This very iconic plane from World War II has been tweaked to give it an anime and Weird vibe. It comes in at the 1/35 scale level and is made of resin. You get both the walker, transformed from it's plane form, and the pilot standing beside it.
I think it's an awesomely fun model and one that I reckon Lloyd might enjoy. What I particularly like about the model is that they've tried to use the look of the original plane to design how it looks when transformed. You could imagine it switching back into its airborne design quite easily.
What do you think?

That’s one of the nicest and most original minis I’ve seen this year, I’m a big fan of Industria Mechanika anyway but this really is something special that stands out even amongst their most eye catching minis!
That said, I’ve long admired their models… are there any distributors in the UK? I’d like to indulge but international postage these days is pretty frightening, at least from the USA it is!
I had a gobot that looked like that.
I remember the Gobots! 🙂
I like the design and uniqueness of this and wouldn’t mind picking it up just to have something cool at my work desk.
Having looked at site it is brilliant, also looking at the same sights prices I think I would have to pass. Shame though.
Their models are expensive, but every one I’ve bought from them has been absolutely lovely. Great quality, very pleasant to build.
If they made a game out of this, i would be so in.
That looks very unique. Like Macross took place during WW2 instead of after WW3.
When I finish the 203mm artillery gun (that ‘someone’ sent me) I am buying that! Might even buy a spare and post it to ‘someone’.
p.s., had to have the deaths head moth! Brilliant.
