May 16, 2017 by deltagamegirl22
Dawn meets up with the team from DUST 1947 to discuss some of the upcoming models and more that are appearing over the year of 2017.
DUST has had a huge update and it's become very accessible. For those of you who already have older DUST models, you can play along too!
There are a few sneaky updates coming over the hills and fog of war too
Are you going to be getting into DUST in 2017?

Hah! Much like DUST itself, the video is unavailable 🙂
Should be available now for you to watch.
Send us a contact for your LGS and we will make sure it’s available to you again. Also, we have http://www.dust1947.com and http://www.dustusa.com
😉
Looks awesome, can’t wait for the next video.
Mandatory ” Where is my money ?” comment.
Even with it’s past – colour me Interested. Cthulhu in Dust, and Japanese.
Just a caution, while used in the period, the term “jap” is seen by some to be derogatory, so best to avoid its use.
Ditto above – the KS was a pain but the minis are fabulous. I may dip into the new rules when I get the opportunity.
They are available for free on http://www.dust1947.com 🙂
what about the word “Brit” ?
just remembered “Yank” too… so scratch that..!!!
Someone is always offended by something…
Such a gorgeous game with simple rules.
Are all the issues with the kickstarter now resolved?
The last missing products due to several order mistakes are being shipped as we watch this video. Paolo said that by the end of summer all should be good and people even received a small token of our appreciation.
Cool glad to hear it 🙂
Looking forward to the cuthulu and aliens
I back that kickstarter through a store in australia, but after the first wave nothing else as shown up, as the shop owner cannot gain up access to the rest of the order and cannot find where or who to contact to completed it
Im missing (a lot of) products : why dont you answer my mails ?
have you talked to Battlefront? They were in charge of sending people their KS items.
I sent countless emails to Battlefront…
[email protected] is the address to write to about this topic.
My understanding they have been for the most part. I received the remainder of mine last winter.
My Dust collection is so large that I’ve had to get a bigger house. Looking forward to the army builder app.
the new models look good especially the walker.
Picked up DUST for the first time at Adepticon … wanted a weird world war game that was easy to assemble and fun to play … this hit the spot. On the Weekender Warren was talking about not wanting to paint mini’s .. the pre-painted DUST stuff does look awesome (I picked up the pre-primed ones).
@dustusa Sounds all quite exiting. Some questions: How is the story progressing…through the campaign book/box…novels…online short-storys? And how will new stuff be added….new rulebook edition…again through the campaign book/box…or just with statcards?
Ohh…and will all that story evolvement carry over to the Dust Adventures RPG from Modiphius?
We did some other videos that you might see in future.
Oh well…patience it is then 🙂
thats a great news ! when we will see game play Dawn?
We tried one. But it’s me instead of Dawn, will that do?
Very interesting to hear about the divergence between the Imperial Japanese Navy and the rest of the faction. Not too far off from the general doctrines and mindsets between the Imperial Japanese Army and Navy in historical WW2. Interesting story thread.
I’m actually happy about this little “resurgence”. No honestly! Thanks to it, i was able to sell the first couple of my walkers for a few hundred bucks on ebay. If this continues like that i might even be able to make up for the loss of money. Although this might have to do with the fact, that i’m not just selling stuff from the ks but also from the FFG era, so with the old stuff they only have to buy once to get the sturmkönig and the königsluther for example. Other than that: how many of these reiterations… Read more »
I wonder how prevalent/difficult to deal with mold lines are on the pre-primed models. This is one that sorta fell off the map for me but the aesthetics of the models always kinda agreed with me.
My son and I have been playing with our FFG DUST models on and off over the past few years. Many times I thought about dumping my collection but am thankful I held on to it. He and I are enjoying the news rules and appreciate that our old models are still playable. THANK YOU BoW for continuing to cover this awesome game!
In the video there was a comment that instead of buying the card packs, you can download the cards for free from your website. I don’t see these anywhere, can you link please?
Everyone I know that was into Dust got turned off but the fast rate of changes in the last years. We’re concerned to buy a deck of cards that is going to be outdated again soon, so can you tell us approximately how long before the 2016 cards are replaced?
Our official Facebook group has the cards in Bloc PDFs in the files of the group.
You can also get the jpg of the cards under each product on http://www.dust1947.com
We finally wrote the rules that we wanted and we don’t plan to change this set of rules for several years.
I hope it helps.
Does the Kickstarter come with that lovely young German lady sitting on the walker? I think I’m in love. 😀 😀 😀
