A Sneaky Peek At New Imperial Character For Warzone Resurrection!
February 25, 2015 by brennon
If you're the sane and bright kind of person that I think you are then you'll have picked up the Imperials for Prodos Games' Warzone Resurrection. You have? Perfect! Here is an awesome looking character that's coming your way soon by the name of Timothy MacGuire!
This particular chap has made quite a name for himself and now fights alongside the Golden Lions (who are awesome by the way) on the battlefields of distant planets...
"After proving himself in numerous battles against the Bauhaus forces in the Venusian Jungles Macguire was promoted Lietenant Colonel and transferred to strengthen the Lion's Authority on battling Cybertronic. MacGuire's strength lies in his leadership abilities and power to instill courage into the men under his command. He likes to take risks - calculated risks, therefore his reputation of preforming operations with a minimum of casualties has made more than one Golden Lion trooper ask for transfer to perform under his command."
What Does He Do?
A pretty awesome looking individual I think you'll agree with a 'Pride of Lions' ranged weapon that not only blasts your opponents but dislodges 30mm tokens around the blast radius. Talk about an awesome use of EMP for scrabbling communications and the like.
His close combat attack is just as awesome allowing him to re-gain wounds lost previously in battle on the roll of a 1-3 during close combat. He also has some other cool special rules you'll have to check out for yourself.
He doesn't exist as a character in the current PDF of the Imperial Rules so look for him in the Heroes of the Solar System rules and you'll be able to use him on the tabletop!
Check him out!

LIBALA TIMMAH!!!!!
That looks really nice.
Just another 40k cliche. Power armour, melee weapon, blah, blah.
This was in the day my favorite miniatures game and when Warzone 2nd ed came out it was like hell yeah, then when target games went out of business this game died with them. And now seeing Warzone coming back is like it was better off being dead, don’t get me wrong I like Mutant Chronicles but Warzones been out of sight out of mind for a long time I would never buy this game again even with new models such as this dude.
Don’t understand that statement at all. It’s almost like saying that you won’t watch an old movie you loved long ago just because it was to long ago? Does not make sense to me. Have you checked out the rules? Rulebook? All the new miniatures and the effort Prodos goes through to make this the best version of the game ever? In my mind we now have best set of rules, they listen to the community and tweak the rules and even miniatures after feedback. And the sculpts are just awesome, great mix of new versions of the classics. The… Read more »
I find the rules are lacking a good rules reference sheet … its hard to just pick up and play without bringing the heavy tome of rules. Think people have tried to tell prodos this for quite some time now.
Really dont like these 3d closeups they do .. looks like nothing id imagine coming out from imperial
