Warmill’s New Construction Droid Goes Homicidal
September 4, 2017 by brennon
Warmill has been working away on a few model kits for a while now that take you beyond their terrain selection. Here we have their latest preview for the Construction Droid which may or may not have had it's safety features turned off...
Whilst mostly being used for building things you can imagine how this might have been turned to nefarious means. One use could be to drop this into a post-apocalyptic game where it guards a junkyard due to its inherent programming.
Maybe you could even throw this into your games of Infinity as a robot which has gone rampant and maybe both sides have to deal with it going crazy.
More Bots
As well as this preview above the folks at Warmill does have other robots in their collection including Jitter Critter...
...and Big Friendly Dog who are looking like they might be perfect beyond simply rampaging robots.
All of these models are resin kits for those interested in taking a closer look. I think a few of these would work nicely as both gaming pieces and terrain too if you wanted them to be a little more static on the tabletop.
What do you think?

Those are some really good looking droids.
They could make interesting terrain pieces or objectives for Infinity. For example TAGs are used almost in place of tanks, why not less complex robots or suits for more mundane tasks like construction? And no matter how good TAGs are, there’s always going to be a need for heavy ordnance, maybe the Nomads are trying to steal one from Pan-O or Yu-Jing.
I can see some these finding their way into my collection.
On my to get list.
love the crab tank.
