Doing stretch sprue I would use a candle rather than a heat gun.
I agree… the candle flame is narrower than the heat gun’s air flow so it’s easier to control the stretching.
Yeah another John week. Any chance we could have the 12 days of John over Christmas.
“On the first day of Christmas my @johnlyons gave to me…
… a Panther behind a Pear Tree”
12 Guns ‘a blazin!
This’ll be good who doesn’t like raiding Khador. Thanks John.
Good thing you decided to tile the peak of the tower. I could foresee enemies burning the guards out of the tower by igniting the thatch. Now how much of the cold effects will be removable? After all, we all don’t get care packages from 4Ground on a daily basis.
without breaking them or repainting none of the effects are removable. But then I would only bother if I was doing a full snow based table, say for frostgrave, rather than do a set up with nothing to match them to
its always great to personalise your terrain.
Lol just finished night shift and I could of sworn Warren said ‘bat shit’ when talking about the thatched roof so funny. I’m going to bed lol
I thought the same thing 🙂
Nice tutorial. I thought Justin and John were trying to film this secretly but no, Warren found them and threw in thatching 🙂
Nothing in the office remains secret for very long.
your going to shave teddy bears ? YOU MONSTER !
Thanks for the VLOG, going to catch up to this and maybe apply some of the tecnics for my Frostgrave terrain…
I can’t be the only one that heard warren discussing bat excrement and not saying “Thatch It” every time there?
