This is good news. I pre-ordered this and I’m looking forward to getting into Warmachine/Hordes.
The army boxes are great, if this is a good one or not I have no idea. The CoC one looks amazing. Not one for me I have never like the aesthetic of a sizable % of ret.
Wrt the contents of this box; there isn’t much wrong with it. You can make whatever Jacks you like, so these 2 aren’t a problem. The Household guard rifleman used to be relatively poor vs the other shooting units (i.e. The Mage Hunter Strike Force), but the Thane has made them very strong now (one of Ret’s weaknesses used to be the relatively poor ability to deal with stealth). The Thane also buffs the Halberdiers + UA, which I’d argue is one of Ret’s strongest units (hits like a brick on the charge / cheap / quick) even before the… Read more »
