Power Up New Cygnar Warjacks & Call On Khador’s Mystical Epic Zervoka!
May 8, 2015 by brennon
If you're interested in seeing how the next Warmachine book plays out then you'll want to keep an eye on these latest Warjacks and Epic Warcaster from Privateer Press. We'll kick things off with the new look Cygnar Warjacks, the Reliant and Stormclad followed by a look at the amazing Epic Kommander Zervoka...
Mighty Warjacks
If you like hammers, rivets, lightning guns and seriously hard as nails looking Warjacks then I think Cygnar have now got you covered...
"By taking the impressive bulk and chassis of the Ironclad and adding powerful voltaic weaponry, the Stormclad and Reliant were born. The Stormclad is equipped with an accumulator that draws on the galvanic energies of nearby Stormblades to augment its impressive storm-powered generator blade. The Reliant is built for versatility, whether enveloping the enemy with crackling electrical fields from a distance using its Stormbringer or driving the opposition to its knees with pulse hammer strikes."

Both of these models are new versions of existing sculpts within the range and are here in plastic this time rather than metal (yay!). While I don't like the Warcasters and units for Cygnar I do like their Warjacks with the whole reliance on hammers and lightning.
A Khadoran Mystic
As well as the Warjacks for Cygnar there is a new fantastic model for the Epic Level Warcaster Zervoka for Khador. She comes with a pair of Reaver Guards protecting her on the battlefield...
"Through a combination of fearsome reputation, ruthless tactics, and intimate knowledge of the occult, Aleksandra Zerkova has scaled the ranks of the Greylords Covenant. Her open display of mystical power, from forbidden relics to guardians enslaved to her will, has earned her many enemies—but none capable of standing in her way. She is as skilled at espionage as the dark arts, and more than a few of her detractors have disappeared without a trace, while those once vocal about her wrongdoing have grown strangely quiet."
This new model looks fantastic and it's another example of them taking their sculpts to another level away from the 'heroic' proportions that we'd seen in the past. The new focus seems to be on making the features believable and 'human' while also retaining the sense of grandeur in the models with 'heroic' additions like big flowing cloaks and huge weapons.
Privateer Press are on to a great thing with whoever is sculpting their new characters like Zerkova and I hope we see a lot more!
What do you think?

Lovely stuff. As a Cygnar player, its good to see the Stormclad in plastic now and to finally see the Reliant get released as well. Zerkova and her Reaver guards look very nice as well, loving the polearm type weapons.
really dig those reaver guards .. potential pick up to paint for sure
Those Cygnar jacks look really good. I am loving Stormclad.
Zerkova and her Reaver Guards look great. I am tempted to add her and her guards to my Khador.
The new Khador caster looks amazing! Worth to get her just to paint, almost, she is Khador after all, lol.
oh yes so nice an upgrade for Zerkova.. will have to get her 🙂
Those reaver guards look awesome.
I like the simple poses
Zerkova and guards are stunning, a must buy
I read the title as ‘…Zervodka’, which I guess why you spelled it wrong.
Moar Plastics! Yay!
Zervoka and the Reaver Guards look great, but it seems that stylistically Khador is drifting away form its soviet roots.
Oooooh… The lady comes with beefcake with big polearms ! There’s a nice piece for everyone in this package.
Khadoran Mystic now those are nice miniatures!
