i’m with @frostwolf the wet blending is fascinating especially going back in with water to smooth it out
I’ve heard Rafael brushes are a little longer than other brands, do you find the paint dries more slowly when you get into 00 000 territory? I know paint drying fast on small brushes can be an issue and was wondering if a bit of extra length in the brush helps at all.

Thanks a lot ! 🙂 The length helps, but only because of the thickness of the tuft : it allows the brush to retain more paint/water mix in its hair. Since it would be wrong to let paint get to the ferrule, and since you should only have paint up to half of the tuft of hair (two thirds at the most), it follows that if the tuft is sufficiently “plump” at the center, it will hold more paint.
