Mount Up In The Rhulic Hammerfall Siege Crawler

Privateer Press dive into the world of Warmachine with some more of their releases this week as they focus in on the Rhulic forces and their Hammerfall Siege Crawler.
"A testament to the engineering brilliance of the Rhulfolk, the Hammerfall Siege Crawler paves the way for assaults on hard targets.
Firing its thunderous siegebreaker cannons to crack open fortress walls and pulverize enemy armor, the Siege Crawler is a mobile artillery battery worthy of the reputation of Hammerfall’s renowned mercenaries."
This is a rather spectacular looking creation, a mobile artillery piece capable of blasting holes in the enemy defenses and of course any Warjack that might find itself standing in the way.
What do you make of this hulking mountain of metal?

Sorry, I can’t help but feel that this is perhaps one of the weakest looking Colossals.
Not as dynamic as some of the others no but I do think it’s pretty ‘Rhulic’ in its design. A big sturdy, no-nonsense artillery piece.
BoW Ben
I’m just struggling to picture how this thing would move (without toppling over). I’m guessing anything other than flat ground would cause this thing some real problems.
Again, I think it you line this crawler up against any of the other Colossals or Battle Engines, in turns of aesthetics I’d probably put it at the bottom (or maybe even equal with the RoS cricket).
yes, the teapot is the first merc battle engine (minions have 2 already)
Given either tracks or longer, chunkier legs this thing would look a lot better imo.
As it stands I’d argue it looks quite nonsensical indeed 😛
Nice to see a Rhulic Battle Engine …… Is it the Mercenaries first??? I know they got a couple of colossals but I can’t recall them getting a battle engine before.
Awesome model 🙂 It has at very Metal Slug-looking vibe to it!
That is one awesome looking battle engine.
And I always assumed it would be khador that got the first tank in warmachine.
I think its base and mode of propulsion is the weakest part of this model, but otherwise is an interesting addition.
looks a lumbering beast, I bet it will be a pain n the ass to kill?
Id say its slow, tough and shooty! Good to see Mercenaries finally get a battle engine
Not delving deep into whether it would be able to move if it was real I find it be a chunky rhulic piece of artillery death. Still, it can have some hydraulics put into those tiny legs of his and maybe it is currently in the shooting, not moving position? That’s why they are in the short mode for support?
