Familiar Faces & A New Shocktrooper Officer Ready For Warmachine Duty

September 22, 2016 by brennon

A selection of older sculpts have now been added to their Privateer Press webstore for you to snap up for your games of Warmachine. Old Warcasters also join the new Man-O-War Shocktrooper Officer who will be leading from the front...

Man-O-War Shocktrooper Officer

"Man-O-War shocktrooper officers embody the strength and resilience of the frozen north and, like their homeland, bow to no opposition. The enemies of the Motherland rightfully fear these indomitable warriors and the inexorable tide of steam and steel that marches alongside them.

As they wade into the bloody fray amid the thunderous roar of cannon fire, these decorated veterans inspire those they lead to acts of unparalleled bravery and unfettered violence."

These chaps are brutal on the battlefield and with a leader now thrown into the mix it will be fun seeing how much devastation they can cause. As you can see above the model does come with a pair of head options - personally, I prefer the open helm just for something different.

Old Friends

This next set of characters are available in metal and are based on the sculpts that you would have got in the old Battlegroup Boxes. Leading the way is Warwitch Deneghra.

Warwitch Deneghra

I really liked this sculpt even though she was responsible for the death of Sorscha on many occasions. Talking of the Khadoran warrior woman here we have Kommander Sorscha too!

I have a version of her in plastic sitting on my desk nearby. She was the first Warmachine model I ever painted when I got sucked into the world of clanking gears and cortexes.

Last but not least we have Commander Coleman Stryker who my housemate actually just snapped up for his new Cygnar force.

He's a great model, even if he is in somewhat of a static pose. I like the sword design and his armour is incredibly detailed. The flowing cloak gives you some options for splash of colour too.

Will you be picking up some older versions of these heroes?
