Warmachine Unboxing: Cryx Battlegroup Starter Set
January 13, 2017 by dignity
We're taking a look at a Warmachine Unboxing today as we dig into the Cryx Battlegroup from Privateer Press.
This is a deadly box packed with plenty of brutal tactics to employ on the tabletop and the aesthetic is perfect for lovers of the Evil side of life!
Concerning missing parts, you can find the link HERE for more information.
Do you collect Cryx?
Neat little box. As for missing bits it really depends. If its a bit or part that is not core to the model then I have hobby converting time fun. Like those claws there can be hobbied up some replacements. Now if I only get like half a model, happen before, luckily I got the top half. I will ask for a new model from the company that made the model. And hopefully keep want I got, which happen and I made a Snake lady caster. Some companies do want you to send in the damaged part/s models.
Cyrx are the nastiest faction I can think of in any tabletop game. They make Chaos look like Ewoks!
On to the shiny, when you look at a starter set and the biggest gripe is you’d like a dice of another colour for rolling to hit and hit location at once, that’s a great starter set.
I have a load of Khador and Menoth, and a Cephalyx starter box might be a long shot (please tell me otherwise) so it’d most likely be Hordes if I were to splash out on one of these, though.
a great unboxing/starter box guys.
I am not a Cryx kind of guy, particularly after reading volume 1 of the hellslingers trilogy. That being said as @somegeezer implied above, the do evil well. Great unboxing lads, I do like Privateer’s new starter boxes and the thought they put into them
