Braghen Ragemonger Leads New Warmachine Releases!
January 31, 2024 by brennon
Privateer Press has released their new Warmachine miniatures for the month and they are looking great! Some awesome new 35mm miniatures have popped up for the Trollbloods as well as some mighty new warriors for the forces of Khador.
Braghen Ragemonger // Warmachine
Leading the way is an awesome addition to the Brineblood Marauders in the form of Braghen Ragemonger. This fellow is a Trollkin pirate of exceptional skill who has developed something of a kinship with the great sharks that hove through the waters around the coast. That means yes, he is riding into battle on the back of a rampaging shark that wouldn't look out of place in the Street Sharks cartoon. Very epic indeed.
Sticking with the Trollbloods and the Brineblood Marauders, we have a magnificent flying machine, the Pyg Battle Brig.

Soaring through the skies with a kind of grace, this miniature is another reason why the Trollbloods are such a fun faction. They manage to bring a bit of fun and comedy to an otherwise quite dark Fantasy world and with great miniatures too. It even has a fun Sky Hook which can be used to move miniatures around the tabletop and the Shooting Gallery special rule which allows it to use its guns mounted on the deck.
Khador
The forces of Khador can now also call on the might of the Khador Annihilators Cadre.
Khador Annihilators Cadre // Warmachine
This set allows you to throw some brutal warsuits into the mix rather than having to worry about Warjacks. It would have to be Khador who makes big suits so they can walk into battle and cause more chaos. This set features Kommander Tatiana Sikora as the Warcaster alongside a Controller, Wrecking Crew (three miniatures) and Sergeant Sergei Krol who acts as a Character Solo in-game.
These miniatures can be used alongside the Winter Korps or Old Umbrey forces on the tabletop and as you might have guessed, they are good at getting stuck into melee combat. They are going to be equally good at clearing the table of regular infantry and Warjacks thanks to their various weapon options. Plus, the Vengeance special rule means they will always be able to close with the enemy.
The Shadowflame Shard
One of the most impressive miniatures of the last while is also available for you to scoop up this month. The Wyvern is swooping down onto tabletops.
Wyvern // Warmachine
The Shadowflame Shard are getting themselves an awesome new monster which is a wonderful blend of both the organic and the synthetic. The miniature is impressive and it also comes with a whole host of attacks to its name including talons, bites, tail strikes and flame breath. It can also hinder enemy ranged attacks with Warping Winds and destroy defences that it walks through thanks to being a super-heavy warbeast.
Rassyk, Spawn Of Shadows // Warmachine
Last but not least, we have the return of Rassyk who is now available as a separate release for the Shadowflame Shard. He comes with a brutal melee weapon called Thanatos which has Critical Decapitation as a rule. He can also use some powerful spells and plenty of ways to bolster his allies with the feat, Wall Of Fangs. An awesome miniature showing off the new ideas that Privateer Press are exploring with the new edition of Warmachine.
Will you be snapping up these new miniatures?
