I giggled when you held out a gloved hand and proclaimed you would use it to grab your parts @elromanozo .
I really do need to pick up an airbrush to try this out, I did a rough non metallic job on some old grey knights last night with a hairy stick, airbrushing is just so much quicker and more controllable.
Hey Romain. The Iwata Neo airbrush really is great value for money isn’t it. I’ve had one since Christmas and am slowly developing my air-brush technique with it. As I improve and get more control and detailed it seems the brush is always one step ahead of me in terms of its capabilities.
Looking forward to seeing how you develop the glows.
Very interesting. This is the tutorial I’ve been waiting for. I have Angel’s book but it’s great to see a video of this.
Time to fire up the compressor.
Actually, this pre-dates the book… But thanks ! 🙂
Yes! Romain is back! Good to see something new, I just like Stu and many other follow Angel book tutorial and I am looking forward to improve my skills, It will be great to see you doing it Romain and follow your steps.
Keep it working for thursday Stu!
Thanks for the kind words, guys !
Nice subtle shading bringing the details out of the figure can’t wait for the next part.

Thanks again!
Thanks ! Sure thing ! For gold, there’s that (which is but one option among several) : 1) Prime black, 2) airbrush chocolate brown (with some hull red or purple mixed in if you want reddish hues, or use something darker entirely if you’re so inclined) 3) airbrush ochre (skanebite leather and the like… you can mix it in with the previous colour if the gradient appears too steep on large surfaces, but you shouldn’t have any problem for regular sized figures), 4) airbrush yellow for highlights (averland sunset or something like that, better be some equivalent in another brand… Read more »
Fantastic, thanks for taking the time to answer my query in such detail. I will be attempting that on my stormcast when I pick them up this weekend.
