Warlord Games Begin Taking Pre-Orders For Warlords Of Erehwon
December 15, 2018 by brennon
Warlord Games has begun taking pre-orders for the Warlords Of Erehwon Rulebook which features their dive into the realm of Fantasy wargaming.
As with most of the releases from Warlord Games the rulebook comes with a special miniature, Arise, Oh Restless Dead. This gives you a cool Necromancer character to use in your games, leading a horde of skeletons and zombies into battle.
It will be fascinating to see where they go with Warlords Of Erehwon in the future, be it with their own plastic kits or ones borrowed from other ranges.
Above is the new Quickstarter they've put together using some of the old Wargames Factory range which makes for a good start.
We shall be keeping an eye on this one…

That’s quite a nice model. Maybe worth getting the rules just for the miniature
Those look really good.
A good model.
I couldn’t see it But is there any mention of a rulebook only price?
The book only price is £30 (plus P&P of course)

Thanks
I’ve pre-ordered my copy.
I do find it odd that given the rules apparently use Order Dice, they’re not included in the starter set even though D10s are.
I would assume they are doing some special coloured order dice in the future which will be sold separately.
That’s what I assumed but you’d still think they would at least include some in the starter set.
maybe they’ve ran out again. I remember for a long long time it was impossible to get the order dice for BA, and that was before they added more games that use them ^^
Thankfully you don’t need them to play the game, so it’s not the worst in the world.
It’s weird… I’ve been looking forward to this with anticipation for a long time, but now it’s arrived I feel a bit underwhelmed.
The old miniatures they’re rereleasing alongside it aren’t at all bad, but they’re not exactly new and exciting. And I know the whole point of this is to be a generic rules set you can use with whichever fantasy game you wish, but I just don’t feel like there’s much ‘buzz’ about it.
Perhaps I’ve just missed what Warlord have been saying about it.
I hope to see more coverage anyway.
I love the look of the Skeletons with this game, very Jason and the Argonauts with the old round shields.
