Face Terrors Of The Deep In Warlord Game’s Black Seas

Warlord Games has been showing off a new set of miniatures for Black Seas which is a little bit different! Terrors Of The Deep throws creatures of myth and legend into the mix alongside some creatures which are more appropriate to our real world.

Hunt Monsters With Black Seas @ Store.OnTableTop
Here we have the things that sailors feared as they set sail on the seven seas. You've got the Kraken, Leviathan, Sea Serpent, Giant Narwhal, White Whale and Megaladon. Superstition perhaps but there could be truth to these myths. Each of the miniatures is cast in resin and you also get the game cards you need to use them during your adventures too.

I really like the idea of playing around with the traditional Kraken in games of Black Seas as well as the White Whale for a bit of Moby Dick action. You could also maybe even do a bit of a monster hunt as you and your opponent's fleet seek to earn some glory for their respective navy.
Are you going to be adding these into your games?

nice
Lovely stuff. I can see myself getting these. One of the features I enjoyed about Uncharted Seas was fighting sea monsters. Rules for them in Black Seas sounds like a win to me!
That whale looks Moby dick the other animals look fabulous as well.
Those are very nice.
Lovely minis, reminds me of the old Man O War set so nostalgia kicking in. Doubt these would fit the upcoming dystopian wars naval game but I don’t care will likely find a way ?
You can always have sea monster’s in sea game’s.
I think it has to be done it would be rude not too ?
Could be used even with modern ship’s a bit like Pacific rim.
Or the Surface TV series.
That’s a cracking idea. I love world building and adding strange new things into the mix so thanks for the ideas. I suppose with the Lost World Exodus influence I could add pretty much anything so will likely be making a purchase as I especially like that sea serpent. Thanks again Zorg ???
@lordsanes does this tickle you in enjoyable ways?
I love it!
Those look great, reminds me of the Man ‘O’ War gribblies.
