The Cybermen Are Assembled For Warlord’s Doctor Who Game
November 29, 2016 by brennon
The Doctor Who Miniatures Game gets some new villains in the form of the Cybermen who have now been previewed by Warlord Games!
While the Cybermen you'll see below are the more modern incarnation of these assimilating warriors the collection is going to contain versions from the history of Doctor Who.
The models themselves are all push fit so they require no glue in order to assemble. All you need to do is snip them off the sprues and put them together to start your Cyberman horde. The plastic quality looks awesome too showing off all the metal awesomeness of these Cybermen.
Will you be snapping these up?

Oooh this is looking better and better!
I really want to be interested in these, but I keep going back to the 38mm scale, which won’t work with my Harlequin models.
That’s what I was thinking at first, but it turns out that 28mm models are normally measured from the feet to the eye line. Warlord games measured from the bottem of the base to the top of the head. I did this on my harlequins and indeed it did measure 38mm. 🙂
^^ This. A huge number of models advertised as “28mm” these days are 35-38mm to the top of the head.
But why? (Moan at the industry not you Reaper) why do company’s feel the need to market things as 28mm when their not? Why keep coming up with different ways to measure mini scale? There was a Kickstarter at one point saying that mini scale was based on base size!!!! Obviously the scale thing doesn’t work as an industry “standard” so why keep using It. I’m kinda OCD about my mini collection working with each other, if I picked up something marketed as 28mm and then when I got it home it was a head above the rest of my… Read more »
Look good, but can I just have the 80’s ones please?
Was thinking the same thing. I’d prolly handsculpt my own Dark Dimension cyberman to lead them even.
@beetle, I think there was a mistake on warlords advertising they are 28mm and this was discussed on the forum They also confirmed it. If you look at the photo above the mini looks 28 in his hand. Cheers kev
Which forum?
I would be more interested if they were about the same scale as the Harlequin/Black Tree models

It was discussed on the warlord games forum for DR Who
These are the best looking thing that I have seen for this game, I wasn’t impressed by the previous stuff.

Those are rather good but cover of box shows all versions while models are modern version of Cybermen.
They have advertised two sets. The box art above is for the metal collectors set containing different designs of Cybermen through, while the plastic ‘modern’ snap fit fellows are a separate release (and will also feature in the starter set alongside plastic Daleks).
Nice. Weeping Angels, please Warlord!
they look great cybermen.
They look good enough for board games. I could see them turn out nice with a quality paint job.
Any decent scale comparison pics of the range in the wild yet?
Yeah that be the best way to find out where we are with sizes so if anyone has some of theses minis that have been released would you please put some pics up next to minus we recognise in size cheers kev
Minis we recognise (stupid phone)
