Black Powder 2nd Edition Rulebook Pre-Orders Live
August 23, 2018 by brennon
Warlord Games has now added pre-orders to their webstore for Black Powder 2nd Edition. You can either get the Regular Rulebook or a fancy Collector's Edition which comes with a leatherette dust jacket, gold foil inlaid across it and signed by Rick Priestley!
Whichever version of the book you plump for you're also going to get yourself the special pre-order miniature for the new edition, namely this dashing looking swashbuckler called John Lucky!
This certainly sets us up for more than just your standard rank and file battles from the Black Powder period. Instead, we're looking at more chances to get stuck in with piratical activities too!
The book will cover battles from across the 18th and 19th Century across all of Europe and America. You'll have all of the tools to play out famous battles and maybe some that you've designed yourself too!
Are you going in for this?

Not gonna lie, was hunched over my keyboard at 3:59 yesterday waiting for it to go live haha – gotta get me a signed copy
I did the same thing 😀 Went for the collectors editiom
Ohh nice mini
I was there at 1am to ordered the Collector’s Edition.
Did anyone ever find out what was different in the new edition?
been trying to find out, couple of Warlord staffers go to a gaming club about 20 miles from me – try and find out what I can… In the meantime, there’s the Wargames Illustrated interview with Rick Priestley and rumours that the charging mechanic, rocket rules and generals are changing. For the most part it’s got 10 years of errata written up with a few extra changes but I’m still eager to find out… https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P_p2zcTK3v8&feature=youtu.be
