Warlord Games have revealed a preview for their Beyond The Gates Of Antares Campaign which will be launching online on June 18th (this Saturday). As you might imagine it's tied into the new supplement, The Battle For Xilos...

Battle For Xilos Supplement

Inside the book..,

"The book describes, in the form of an exciting and continuing narrative, the struggle for control of the planet and the ancient builder tech hidden beneath its surface - and includes a campaign system featuring a series of scenarios which cover the different stages of the battle for Xilos, from the initial landings to... well, we'll come onto that... with a cool system for gathering campaign victory points and fielding some of the strange builder tech artefacts that your forces will capture along the way!"

Effect The Course Of History

Sounds pretty cool right? Well, their Online Campaign is going to be detail this struggle and the outcome of the war will eventually become canon within the growing narrative of Gates of Antares.

Battle For Xilos

The campaign will be broken up into six different episodes where you will play out the various conflicts from landing on the planet to getting stuck into more 'boots on the ground' style action as you get lost within the terrain of Xilos.

Battle For Xilos (Episodes)

As the campaign continues the winners of certain battles within episodes might get additional bonuses in further episodes to continue the flow of the narrative within the campaign. Sounds rather fun doesn't it!

Battle For Xilos (Factions)

You will be able to talk within your own faction hubs and earn achievements for your victories and defeats on the battlefield. With that in mind you can also upload your battle reports and show off just how your skirmishes played out.

Will you be taking part?
