The Yogscast Take On Total War Warhammer With Battle Commanders!
May 16, 2016 by brennon
The Yogscast are a funny bunch and so when they teamed up with Creative Assembly it was going to go well. Below you'll see the two videos they did for Total War: Warhammer where they took on the role of Battle Commanders (think Time Commanders) and battled as both the Orcs & Goblins and the Dwarfs...
Turps presents the show while Duncan and Lewis take on the role of generals directing the action using a battle map. They then must rely on their feeble lieutenants from HAT Films (Alex, Ross and Chris) to follow their commands.
A warning before hand that there is some strong language in these videos so beware!
Battling With Greenskins
A Dwarfen Siege
Both these videos are a lot of fun and it does a good job of showing off the game while having a bit of fun. Hopefully we could see them do more of these as I think they were great to watch. I imagine the sets weren't cheap however!
What do you think of their skills?

Never thought I’d see the Yogs on this site. These chaps are fantastic.
Actually featured them before for High Rollers and some of their board game stuff 🙂
Neat. I must have missed that.
Cool 🙂
I used to watch a lot of the yogs stuff back in the jaffa factory days but kinda lost interest when they split up onto different servers + channels – nice to see Simon and Lewis dun gud 😉
Should give the Triforce Podcast a listen. Great stuff. Current Druidz series has been good too.
Lol having flash backs from the BBC program with players commanding generals fighting great battles of the past with total war. Nice videos guys.
yeah, I remember that show as well.
They used the Total War series for that as well.
It was great for both the historic aspect and for showing how communication between ‘generals’ is what can make or break a battle.
time commanders was the program.
