Warhammer: Invasion from Fantasy Flight Games was and still is one of the best card games out there drawing on the awesome Warhammer Fantasy world and mixing it with skillful gameplay. Now you can fight with four players in Cataclysm...
Cataclysm introduces a few new mechanics and a whole bunch of new cards to make four player gaming a possibility where it was a chore before. With the addition of mighty magical fulcrums and places of power you will be fighting for dominance over the Old World in huge battles.
I love this game and have gathered most of the cards for it. Annoyingly there are still so many to go but the collection will be complete sooner or later! As well as Cataclysm they are also planning to bring in armies that were previously just allies for the main forces. Wood Elves and Vampire Counts will soon be taking to the field.

Warhammer (for me) has always been too rules heavy, especially 8th edition.
Only just found out about this Fantasy Flight CCG.
By the looks of it, not all the armies are available yet.
Question: Is each unit basically represented by a card?
Thankfully this is a Living Card Game so you’re able to pick up extra packs and know exactly what’s inside. It is a fantastic game though, very tactical and works well when you build up armies. So far the armies are for Order are Dwarfs, High Elves and Empire and Destruction has Chaos, Orcs & Goblins and Dark Elves. Skaven, Vampire Counts, Wood Elves and Lizardmen were allied units that could be mixed into their respective decks but there is an upgrade coming soon which makes these into fully fledged armies. Amazingly well produced video series there.
The game is different to what I thought it would be like.
Much more abstract compared to the direct confrontation between units in Warhammer.
Still keeping my eye on this one for homebrew rules ideas.
