If you're looking to lead the Bretonnians into the heart of battle with Warhammer: The Old World then you're going to want to a Damsel to give you the blessings of the Lady Of The Lake. See what you make of the Prophetess, Lady Élisse Duchaard previewed by Games Workshop this week.
Lady Elisse Duchaard // Warhammer: The Old World
Duchaard carries the various symbols that show her station. She has a golden grain, the finest silk robe and a glowing sceptre. He unicorn Ariandir is also so in tune with her that he needs no saddles to bear her and instead the flowers and vines showcase the way that both Duchaard and Ariandir are intertwined with nature.

Damn, that’s one he’ll of a model that has come far and continues to work through the various media. The sculpt is excellent and the box art immaculate.
Only one model for the Old World.
There is no way this is going to come out this year. Unless all they plan to do is re release all the old models with inflated prices.
They’re releasing old plastic kits with larger bases and then adding a few new miniatures to the range as well.
Rumour is the release date has been moved out of 2023 due to the recent warehouse etc issues.
It was absurd to release it this year when 2025 is the only actual year a real release for a game this big could be allocated… unless, of course, this is a scam and designed to fail but not before they re-sell you 20 year old models for double the price.
Man. I wish this site had a laugh react. The level of utter paranoia you exhibit towards GW is amazing. “It’s a scam designed to fail but only after they re-sell you 20 year old miniatures”. If the aim actually to just ship a load of 20 year old models and not to reinvent warhammer fantasy, then if it manages to sell 20 year old models at twice the price, the scam has succeeded. That is one beautiful model. The only criticism I have is that it is a shame she’s no longer riding side saddle – that was a nice little touch on the old Fae Enchantress and Damsel miniatures
This looks like a really nice model. I’d love to see how big this is compared to say a North Star Frostgrave model on foot just so I’d know it would be useful in other games. I have a feeling that unicorn is going to be pretty big.
Actually, thinking about it I’d assume that’s a 40mm square base?
Some of the recent GW character sculpts have been tremendous. I don’t play Bretonnians but think the lady will be fun to assemble and paint. My guess is she’ll be too big against regular Frostgrave figures but you never know. Is it just me or does her foot look really swollen??
