The Mighty Grimgor Ironhide Plays Part In Total War: Warhammer Campaign Trailer
November 25, 2015 by brennon
Grimgor Ironhide, one of the mighty Generals in charge of the Orcs & Goblins in Total War: Warhammer, is the focal point of the campaign trailer that you see above. Will you be fighting alongside the greenskins when the game comes out?
I like that they've captured the brutality of the Warhammer world so well in the game, that we can see right now, and it is also somewhat bitter-sweet that as we get the PC game that we always wanted for Warhammer and have lost the tabletop game world that we all came to know and love with our mighty armies.
I will certainly be joining the Dwarves and marching forth to take on this new Waaaagh! from Grimgor and his boys.
Are you going to be getting the game?

This looks awesome only problem is that my poor little PC is going to have troubles running the game… Maybe this game is worth upgrading for
Totally building a new gaming rig for new games like this. Fallout 4 was taxing enough. But the more I see of Total War: Warhammer, the more it is looking like a must have! Feeling very positive about this game. So strange that my Warhammer fix will be on the PC in the future rather than the tabletop given past attempts. Times certainly have changed.
Cannot wait for this beast to arrive! Although now that you guys mention it, my PC probably could also do with some upgrades if I want to play it at full spec.
They certainly seem to have done a good job of capturing Grimgor in all his psychotic glory. The more I see of this game, the more I like it.
I am particularly looking forward to seeing a bit more of Mannfred von Castein and the Vampire Counts faction. That was my faction of choice on the tabletop in Oldhammer (and still is in AoS), and will probably be the first faction I play through with in Total War: Warhammer as well.
its just looking better and better.
Suddenly I’m more interested in the game 😀
That video has also got me very interested. If the game gets decent reviews then I will certainly be buying it.
WARGHHHHH
No thanks. Just too implausible. I’ll stick with the LOTR Total War game.
Ummm… out of curiosity, how is implausibility an issue with regard to a game set in a fantasy universe? And how is a Lord of the Rings Total War game – with its elves, dwarves, trolls, giant spiders, ringwraiths, ents and wizards – in any way meaningfully less implausible as a setting?
It is not as though either fictional universe aims even for a Song of Ice and Fire level of ‘magical (medieval) realism’ – both are full on fantastical settings. I honestly don’t see that there is much to choose between them in this regard.
Every trailer stings in the open wound Warhammer Fantasy has Left.
Now theres only Orruks and Seraphon and Aelfs…
What are they?
“b-b-but where are the Sigmarites?!?! I can’t envisage a warhammer game without them” – said no one ever.
