Total War: Warhammer – A Kingdom For A King
March 29, 2017 by crew
Welcome back to another episode of our Journey From Tabletop series where MrStainless001 (Sam) takes us through his experiences in Total War: Warhammer.
In this episode, following the defeat of the Marienburg forces in the field Sam talks about the tactics and ideas he's formulating in order to finish them off for good.
He's also having to deal with the Vampire Counts invading his lands and a crippled economy as the Bretonnians try and feed their war machine.
Don't forget to check out more from Sam over on his Youtube Channel!
How would you deal with this situation?
Its a great strategy to push the extra armies away. It is sometimes a problem when the enemy use it aswell (Remember you banner 😉 ) I just finished my Bretonia campaign in the weekend, my biggest issue was fighting does bloody wood elfs…
I waited to send an army across the sea, after i have conquered Marienburg, because i wanted ekstra honor, and there is a couple of researchers, that makes you get more honor when defeating the north tribes.
Looking forward to see what you plan after you finished of Marienburg.
Oh dear, I’m actually working my way towards the Elves, looks like I’m in for a challenge :/
Equally I finally remembered about the banner! I equipped it for an upcoming battle which I think you’ll enjoy 😉
Im sure I will, enjoyed it so fare.
My peasents was… well the word im looking for is murded by all the archers they have, and I i could not use my knights for full pontently because of all those damm woods. It was hard, but funny. As suggested the wood elf is hard to beat when fighting in the woods… a total surprise 😉
@stainless001 you could have disbanded the other character too for more income. It would take a while for him to be available again but it could have been worth while.
I have noticed that when you do the research to give a bonus to diplomacy with other Bretonnian factions that you can go very fast to confederation.
Very true, but I wanted to use them to instill order in my border settlements, equally I wanted to keep them in the field just in case I needed to raise some extra troops quickly, it only really saves me a turn or two, but it can come in handy.
I thought so.
its a long time since I played any total war but don’t army’s in enemy terrain cost nothing? they pillage to exist.
Hmm, I think if you get the army to raid they don’t cost anything
perhaps.
Another awesome episode. Thank you 🙂
Thanks! They’re only going to get more intense from here 🙂
thanks mate. I don’t own the game but i’m enjoying the narrative. keep up the good work.
Thanks!
Smart move to get rid of Emil. Elegant and smooth 🙂
Even when I am are a Total War veteran I can still learn from your vids @stainless001 … that’s what such things are about.
Great work 🙂
