HeroHammer Fanzine Issue #2 Now Available To Download!
July 27, 2021 by brennon
The Crown Of Command Podcast has now released its brand new issue of HeroHammer! If you're a bit of an Oldhammer fan or just enjoy Warhammer Fantasy Battles in general, this is well worth a read. Issue #2 is infested with Skaven!
Issue #2 // HeroHammer
The newest issue is another fantastic labour of love that would be a great resource for those that enjoy Warhammer Fantasy Battles of old. A great host of contributors have come together to produce an eighty-plus page magazine that is packed with artwork, painted miniatures and more.
Issue #2 Preview One // HeroHammer
Throughout the magazine, you'll find all manner of articles to dive into. There are battle reports, hobby articles, gaming tips, army showcases, editorials and more. It feels like the classic White Dwarf magazine of old.
Issue #2 Preview Two // HeroHammer
Some favourites from this issue include the Chop Shop article (pictured above) which shows off how to tweak monopose miniatures. I also absolutely love the battle reports including The Battle Of The Horned Ones and No Man's Land which pivots things to look at a smidgen of Warhammer 40,000.
Issue #2 Preview Three // HeroHammer
This issue has completely taken me back. The Skaven were the first of the armies that I picked up for Warhammer Fantasy Battles. I walked into my local Games Workshop and picked up a regiment of Clan Rats and a Warplock Engineer. Those were the days.
Are you going to be downloading this and giving it a read?

I was not in the hobby back then, but man were these rally cool to read through. I love that people still keep the flame alive. I hope they continue for years to come.
Thanks again for the spotlight Ben and I hope you enjoyed the read 🙂
We had a great time producing it with some truly passionate people in the hobby community.
