Well they certainly look better than the old Chaos Dwarfs circa the ‘White Dwarf Presents’ period. But Damn it, imagine having to buy an entire WFB army from Forge World… my bank manager would take a hit out on me if I did that!!!
I remember seeing that train all that time ago and thinking it was the coolest bit of kit I’ve seen out of Workshop in recent memory, and these guys look great too!
Only thing is that Forgeworld need to get a fully tournament legal armybook out for these guys, not just some unofficial pdf. If they can make them playable at that level, I imagine I won’t be the only one selling their organs to get these guys! CHOO CHOO
Yeah im not paying $58 USD for 10 miniatures when i could get 20 for half the price from mantic, and mantics are better interpretations of chaos dwarfs imo. All i want from forgeworld are the rules and ill make my own conversions from mantic abyssal dwarfs.
ive wanted to runs a chaos dwarf for a long time and i dont want to have to go without eating for a month to do it
They are very nice but I fail to understand why Chaos Dwarves should be a ‘resin only’ release, if they managed to re-do an entire range like Dark Eldar then they could do it with the Chaos Dwarves as well.
I would be interested in buying them if I had the money – like most things in my life 🙁
I’ve been waiting for the Chaos Dwarves to be released again for years. They were my number 1 army. I love these new models and maybe hope to get a few someday but £36 for 10 models!!! Can’t see me getting an army of these guys. Probably the odd token unit if I have enough cash.
I’d love to have some just to paint up but dang, GW prices are always crazy but this… this is crazy for just 10 models. The sculpts though are gorgeous, makes me think of Warhammer Online a bit to. I hope the style of these makes their way into the regular dwarf line.
Here come the Chaos Dawrfs, probably the most anticipated release for over a decade, probably.

Love the design (I’m guessing its more realistic take on the babylonians) but I’m going to miss there silly hats.
No clue why, but these are adorable 😐
