Let’s Play Warhammer End Times: Vermintide – The Worst Adventurers Ever…
May 17, 2017 by crew
In today’s video on Warhammer End Times: Vermintide I’m joined by my Warhammer Fantasy RPG gang; BoW’s Lance, Ryan (LudicRyan) and Michael (McBlair) as we make our way across the roaming hills and never-ending rain of Stromdorf to uncover the foul deeds of the Skaven.
Something is not right in the town of Stromdorf, a courier carrying important news has disappeared, and the Skaven seem once again to be plotting something sinister. Thankfully, this isn’t the first time I’ve dealt with these furry fiends of the Warhammer universe.
If you’ve never played Warhammer End Times: Vermintide before think of it as Left 4 Dead meets Warhammer…if you’ve never played Left 4 Dead then imagine this game as a Warhammer fever dream where you’ll be constantly swarmed by waves of filthy Skaven while you and your ‘friends’ bicker and fight over much-needed healing potions and loot dice.
Like most games set in the Warhammer universe Vermintide is equal parts challenging and rewarding. Today we’re playing through the first of two missions that have been added in the Vermintide Stromdorf DLC ‘The Courier'.
If you want to try out the DLC for yourself it is now on sale and available on Steam for £4.99 and I’d highly recommend it. We’ll be bringing you the second mission next week but in the meantime get you tankards of ale at the ready, sharpen your blades and enjoy us bicker and fight our way through the rainy ruins of Stromdorf.
Join our hapless adventurers in this chaotic game!

Hella fun, can’t wait to play more!
You were on fire ;)….eh?……EH?…..
Played a bit of this on PC – really good fun and tough as hell sometimes.
Of course play as the Dwarf, a mighty tank that can weather the storm of Skaven!
Haha the Dwarf is a very cute character in the game 😉
A cute Dwarf?
the concept makes perfect sense to me 🙂
Currently picturing Ben now as a Chibi armoured Dwarf….
Im more of killing machine with my 2 handed axe 😀 I also have it on the pc.
“I think we’ll be okay. It doesn’t look too bad”
And I’m going “Noooo, why’d you say that. Now it’ll definitely not go okay” 😀
So much fun to watch. I think I have to drop some money into this.
Haha that and ‘We haven’t seen a Rat Ogre in a while…’ are just asking to be cursed.
Looks like a lot off fun.
It’s a great game to play with friends and definitely a challenge
“don’t you run too far now” 🙂
so funny listening to a group of northern Irish fellas trying not to swear. oh gosh oh gosh oh gosh.
Haha, ‘flip me that flippin’ big rat is a right ‘auld fella isn’t he!’
🙁 Bizarrely we weren’t even trying not to swear haha, I think this is how we just talk all the time.
I think me and Friends have been playing it a bit… 422 hours. Well im looking forward to see how you will handle the next part ! 🙂 Dwarf for the !
Oh my! What did you think of the DLC?
I love it, i was happily surprised at the end of the next mission. I really like it because its so different compared to the other dlc, lot of more open ground, and a more claustrophobic in the city, compared to ubersreik, And we found a assassins creed easter egg. we where laughing us sell to hell when we saw it. One of my friends already got the new sword for the soldier. Execution sword, it makes a lot heads roll 🙂 My favorite character is the dwarf with two handed axe, and a shotgun. Have you guys tried the… Read more »
Oh and used charged attack with you rapier against the rat ogre. Much more damage 😉
Which difficulty did you play it on?
That rat-ogre would give you nightmares…
Thought someone yelled – ‘get to the Fairy’ (?) – Ferry Boat!!
It’s a proper nightmare, it’s one of those Jurassic Park moments where you feel a rumble and think ‘did the ground just shake’ until the slow realisation that it’s no earthquake finally hits you.
Been thinking of picking this up myself for PS4.
Always interesting to play from the villain’s perspective, getting to interrupt a calm rat-conversation by sending a bolt whistling past their head. I’d been considering this on PC, still looks interesting live.
Good stuff this! I hadn’t seen this game in action before, looks like great fun!
