Check Out Azhag’s Quest Battle From Total War: Warhammer
March 1, 2016 by brennon
We saw another gameplay video pop up from the folks at Creative Assembly as they showed off one of the Quest Battles that will be playable by Azhag The Slaughterer. He is one of the legendary lords in Total War: Warhammer and this battle sees his Orc & Goblin army taking on Bretonnians...
The quest battles in the game allow these legendary lords to get their iconic magical items that are available on the tabletop. In this particular battle above he is trying to find his 'Ard Armour.
From what we're seeing here the armies behave very much like they do on the tabletop and the characters have been given the right dose of character. Azhag after all is wearing the Crown of Sorcery which once was forged by Nagash making him a dangerous spellcaster in the game.
He also gets to ride his wyvern known as Skullmuncha so he is quite dangerous in combat too.
Will you be playing as the Orcs in Total War: Warhammer?

I am looking forward to this far too much.
This just looks better and better with every video released.
I suppose Brettonia is loosely based on medieval French, so that the AI charges forward without any feeling for positioning or numbers is to be expected…
That Warhammer looks good. Imagine if someone made a tabletop version 😉
You got there before me 🙂
looking better and better.
I actually might play this while I’d never play the table top game.
Every time I see anything about this game it seems to get better. Hopefully we will soon get a glimpse of how they are going to handle the Vampire Counts faction.
