If you want to lead your troops from the Iron Hands into battle then you need to pick up an Iron Father from the folks at Forge World. See what you think of this new addition to their Pre-Heresy line-up.
It's quite the cool and deliberate model which I think fits with the way in which the Iron Hands fight. Added to that he looks like a complete bad ass with that rather wicked axe and all his added appendages and you have quite the leader for your squads in battle.
I wouldn't go anywhere without one of these chaps in your ranks simply for his attunement to the Machine Spirit.

As an Iron Hands player I love it, another fantastic kit from FW.
HOWEVER, I don’t like the way the Iron Gauntlet is on the chest. That sticky-out square makes it look like an afterthought and the pipes don’t even connect into it properly. I think having the Gauntlet on his shoulder and some sort of vent in his chest would have been better.
I’m a little bit on the fence with it, looking at the standard Tech Marines that GW do i’m not picking up that sense of him being such a respected commander. I am sure it will grow on me though.
