Commander Decks // Warhammer 40k & Magic: The Gathering Crossover
With the date now pushed back until October 7th 2022, Wizards of the Coast have confirmed a supply chain issue. This means not only one set for Magic: The Gathering suffering from delays. The much anticipated Unfinity will also be released on the same day this upcoming autumn.
The four different commander decks as part of the Warhammer 40k Universes Beyond release will see the Tyranid Swarm deck, Forces of the Imperium deck, The Ruinous Powers deck and finally the Necron Dynasties. All contain a variety of traditional non-foil cards however there will be a special two shiny foil cards in each set, ready to play straight out of the box. Each product will have a Collector's Edition counterpart.
It's not just Warhammer 40k that's getting an honourable mention over at Wizards of the Coast, with three Secret Lairs releases showcasing Warhammer 4o,000, Age of Sigmar and Blood Bowl too. The delays will be affecting these drops too, with Wizards of the Coast to announce updated dates within the coming weeks.
For more information on the cards, be sure to check out the official announcement from Wizards over on their website here.

I’m actually weirdly onboard for this. I am really tempted to just give it a go 🙂
Right card on the table never really played card’s over the year’s apart from Top trumps an scabby queen type game’s.
As some one who likes both 40k and MtG (even if not as much as I used to) I am interested ftrom these and I might pick some of those up when those are out. Just normal versions though because I am not paying way overprice for badly made special foils.
