I'll break down the contents that are coming in each set. For the Adepta Sorortias and the Sanctorum Guard, we get Morvenn Vahl plus six Paragon Warsuits, five Celestian Sacresants and a Battle Sisters Squad (which can be built as Celestians or Dominions).
Adeptus Custodes Battleforce 2022 // Warhammer 40,000
For the Adeptus Custodes, you get Captain-General Trajann Valoris plus three Vertus Praetors on Dawneagle Jetbikes. You also get three Allarus Custodians and fifteen Custodian Guard. All of these have options to be built in different ways with Shield Captains and Vexilus Praetors.
Adeptus Mechanicus Battleforce 2022 // Warhammer 40,000
The Adeptus Mechanicus get Belisarius Cawl himself plus a pair of Kastlean Robots and their Cybernetica Datasmith handler. There are also six Kataphron Destroyers (or Breachers) plus a unit of Skitarii Vanguard that can also be built as Rangers.
Imperial Knights Battleforce 2022 // Warhammer 40,000
You could also go BIG with an Imperial Knights Battleforce that comes with Knight Preceptor Canis Rex (Questoris-class Knight) plus two Helverines and two Warglaives. I guess you only have to paint six miniatures with this set?
Death Guard Battleforce 2022 // Warhammer 40,000
If you like playing as the forces of Chaos, you can snap up Mortarian, Daemon Primarch Of Nurgle alongside five Blightlord Terminators and fourteen Plague Marines. They are a rather hefty group, heavily armoured and armed with special weapons.
Thousand Sons Battleforce 2022 // Warhammer 40,000
Another of the Daemon Primarches is on the march with Magnus The Red at the head of an army of sorcerers. You have three Exalted Sorcerers for you to cast psychic powers with plus twenty Rubric Marines.
Imperial Fists Battleforce 2022 // Warhammer 40,000
The Imperial Fists get to call on the support of Tor Garadon plus three Primaris Aggressors and fifteen Heavy Intercessors. There is also a set of Imperial Fists Primaris Upgrades and Transfers so you can mark these soldiers properly. A heavily armed force that isn't going to be shifted quickly.
Raven Guard Battleforce 2022 // Warhammer 40,000
Last but not least, we have the Raven Guard who are led by Kayvaan Shrike and supported by a Librarian in Phobos Armour. You then have ten Primaris Reivers, two Invictor Tactical Warsuits and three Eliminators. A perfect scouting force that could be sent behind enemy lines.

Depending on price these are some very interesting forces to pick from. Personally the Imperial Fists one is tempting just for getting a lot of Gravis armour in one place, the Custards box is pretty much an army in a box depending on how you build it, and the 2 Chaos boxes will be perfect for a Death Guard or Thousand Sons player looking to take thing s up a notch with their respective Priamrchs pus some heavy hitters…
Those seem like really nice deals. Custodes one is very likely entire army considering how expensive those are in points and DG and TS boxes having they respective deamon primarchs is nice.
The battleforces boxes are really interesting this year. If they are good or not will depend on where you with the existing armies. A friend of mine slated the Choas boxes because he has the Primarches already they dont hold as much value. However personally I dont so they would be good additions to my exist army. All the boxes are amazing starts to any new player. Adeptus Mechanicus one is slightly odd in at the moment it features a lot of units which are just not that great in game. That said the meta changes so often they will… Read more »
Great stuff.
Bit marine focused, or more so than usual, but in all nice. Whether they will actually be obtainable given limited runs is the issue.
