truly halloween and not winterveil is the most magical time of the year.
They do look top notch, especially on a budget.
I know what you mean John about the inspiration from the Space Marine game. love the idea on the table top.
Nice progress and ideas. One day i will steal them.
I’ve been away for a long time (The site is now OnTableTop???) but I’m loving this project. I have a ton of MDF terrain built ready to paint, so it’s great to take a look at your work John.
Loving the integration of the 40k bits, it looks rather “Bloodbourny” xD And the weapon chambers are an amazing idea. Kudos to you!
great job – like this space hub thing
brilliant status fields you should get a recording off mother from the nostromo for playing when the lights are flashing Guys.
I think instead of a lascannon it’d have looked really cool if it’d been a marine corpse, you know a sort of reliquary like the sort of thing Catholic Churches had in the Middle Ages with the bodies of saints in (except it’d be the actual body of an honoured marine, not something dug up while clearing room in the local cemetery for).
Could even tie it into the hammer by coming up with some fluff of that having been his hammer in life.
Really like the scratch built upgrade pillars.
IF you are still leaning toward acrylic floors, you could put the LED next to their edge and cause the floors to strobe instead of the walls. This might allow for the walls to be painted on light while the strobe effect from the floor for a sort of internal visual effect.
The lights look great an I love the idea of picking up alternative weapons!
I’m got the 40K objectives box and am looking at incorporating the stasis chamber and exterminates objectives somewhere in the craft.
This is looking really nice! Wow, the LED’s, the little boxes and flying buttresses, great integration of parts! *Permission Granted – Astartes Alpha. ### Welcome – Space Marine*
Real good idea and work John, can’t wait to see what you do with the others
Enjoying the Space Marine references. I loved that game and always hoped for a sequel.
Are you guys still playing it?
This is looking fanfethingtastic John!! Love the weapon shrines. Such a cracking idea and looks the business. Now I do believe I need to go and play Space Marine……..again!
