Thanks for the update Doctor Warren the tree whisperer.
Does anyone remember the old painting TV show with Bob Ross? “And here we’ll put some happy little trees. Yes, happy trees wherever you want. Remember, it’s your world, folks. you can make it however you like.”
The wife who is from your side of the Atlantic does recall him, I said the name and she said “Happy little trees”
Looking forward to next weekend ….
Why don’t you guys use hot glue instead of greenstuff on the tree bases? I mounted my 15mm telegraph poles (4ground) on 2eurocent coins with a little drop of hot glue. It dries quick and takes pva glue really well for adding sand, flock etc.
Loving the daily vlogs. Should def be a perminant feature. Thanks guys
like the trees, like the gray / blue paint on the imperial troops / vehicles, the tables will look amazing.
Buttery biscuit base! Love it John!
Someone got it! +1 to you!
Really enjoying all these vlogs! Keep up the good work guys!
I just love the ladt few seconds, justin trying to be all pro till john shouts over… ‘Git’ lol
Damn that was alot of greenstuff!
The vows are great really enjoying watching them, short snips rather than a single long one. Getting really excited about next weekend 🙂
there’s a phrase from our wood-turners club that you should shout at Justin… “Don’t get blood on the wood”
Is there a couple of struts underneath to stop the board being ‘knocked’, or are they being screwed into the legs? I don’t remember seeing anything underneath the board, curious
Ahh! The title of that vlog gave me momentary palpatations. I’m going to the bootcamp to get away from tree surgery for a few days! Just wish my trees were as easy to handle. Can’t wait to see the boards in the flesh, then get back and start making my own.
VLOG is great!
Good stuff! Looks like Brother Lloyd took a good week to be off!
Where do you buy the trees? I need quite a few myself for a project.
/Tommy
Here on Peco’s model railway website: http://www.peco-uk.com/prodtype.asp?strParents=&CAT_ID=3288&numRecordPosition=1 🙂
Good tip for the trees, been looking for some for myself for both Dropzone and Planetfall.
Cool stuff all round!
Someone should create a sort of pantograph with a load of brushes attached so that multiples of the same minis can be painted at the same time, lol. 😀
