Those Tau look really awesome in a simply tan paint scheme!
Also, was that a surprise that the Fallschirmjager army would become yours? It did surprise me.
They look fantastic, the Tiger is menacing and the Stug is compact and equally deadly little tank hunter.
Oh hey, it’s Ronnie! Fun place to work that is.
Very cool seeing Andy’s stuff up on the blog I loved it! I never knew he named all his men but I can’t say I am surprised seeing how he puts stuff up on the painting thread in ones and twos, always trying to get a guy or two out. Anyone seen him about were missing him over at the painting thread.
Also, that would have been a nightmare with the white scars. White and yellow in my opinion are the two hardest colours to do out there. So well done for fixing them up they look great on camera.
Good to see the Tau survived the trip over with you guys in that battered cardboard box!
Deadzone 2.0 is a big improvement on the original.
Not perfect but really good fun.
Bolt Action battle reports sound good. And oh man that fallschirmjäger army looks sweet!
looks like my bog roll wrapping worked on those germans 😀
Precision engineering.
Bolt Action reports sound good….. if only I lived a bit closer….
Yes! Tau vs. White Scars please…. Although that might be over a bit too quick.
*Pew, pew*… Charge! …. Aaaaarrrrggghhh!!… *gurgle*…. Fall back for the greater good!
Wow, and I thought there would be crew names on the bottom hulls of the vehicles. Very nice touch.
What was with Lloyd walking back and forth? An effort to get camera time?
.
Those FJ. Fantastic job!
Loving the German Fallschirmjäger, a very well presented and painted army. I like the way he has named each and every German trooper, a very nice finishing touch.
As i`m building a small German force, i`m gonna pinch the idea of naming each trooper.
Liking the Tau and White Scar`s force`s, both are nicely painted. Going by what Warren said about the White Scars, it is one of the pit falls of buying armies or even squads from E-Bay.
Yeah sometimes an army looks like it’s exactly what you want, but it can be a shock when it’s very different from what you expected. One time we bought a necron army looked great in photos, arrived and stank of cigarettes and the monolith was only painted on one of the four sides. Lol But as I said to John sometimes it’s just cheaper to roll up the sleeves and see if you can work out a scheme that covers any weaknesses and plays to any strengths. I’m happy with where we are now on the white Scars and I… Read more »
I would love to stay and chat, but I have to furiously roster up some tau and white scars!!!
The Armies look great!
All for you baby!!! 😉
Roll on the BA battle reports!
Hej John! we have been missing you on backstage meet up.
@warzan, you really need to watch “The Eagle has landed” again.
good shout! Great film!
I’d love to challenge the chaps to a game or two, but sadly I am stuck in Canada at the moment; bit of a trek to get to you. 😛
I am a huge fan of the colour scheme on the Tau, looks even better in person! I going to paint mine similar, but I think I will go with a tiger stripe camo pattern. The white scar were an interesting sight when Warren pulled them out of the box. John did some magic to get them to look really good.
Those paratroopers are really nice, a great paint job…
Those tau and germans looks great! So does the touched up White Scars, it’s a tricky, tricky color to paint!
