Upgrade Kits & Shoulder Pads New From Forge World!
January 2, 2015 by brennon
Forge World start customising your Imperial Fists with a whole range of upgrade kits for you to play around with. The first of these are the Templar Brethren and Phalanx Warder Squad Upgrade Kits...
I should point out that the full miniatures aren't available and what you get in the packs is the shields, heads, shoulder pads and weapons (alongside a few additional bits and pieces) for converting your Imperial Fists into ultimate bad asses. I really like the look of the Templar Brethren and the stark contrast between yellow and black in the painting above makes them all the cooler.
As well as the upgrade kits there is a range of shoulder pads to help add to your Imperial Fists and they're arranged (as above) as MK II, MK III and MK IV sets to get it set for the right time period of choice.
Are you a mega Imperial Fist fan?

Very nice stuff and with the looks of these Fists you can get away with painting them without too much yellow, which is good as yellow can be a real pain to paint.
Those are really nice.
I have always had something of a soft spot for the Sons of Dorn, but like jay188 I am not a fan of painting too much yellow, so this colour scheme appeals to me. The models themselves are great stuff, and implacable shield walls really convey the feel of Imperial Fists in general, and Heresy-era Imperial Fists in particular.
That color scheme and icons look to me like mixture of Imperial Fists and Black Templar which makes sense considering that Black Templar are Imperial Fists successor chapter.
Really struggling to resist the imperial fists as I was tempted before Pollux and these kits.
looks good for making your fists army.
plus at a pinch can add a bit of depth to any Crimson fists armies for 40k, possibly Templars at a push.
I think the Storm shield pack and the chapter pads made it to the very top of my want list.
While great looking minis I can’t understand why they’ve only made as upgrade kits means to get our PA special units we have to pay an extra £20.
