With a wealth of new Primaris Space Marine and Necron miniatures in the set PLUS the new Rulebook for Warhammer 40,000, you have a lot to play with here.
Which Warhammer 40,000 faction are you going to be playing as when 9th Edition releases?

get the pre-orders up already 😀
they have to wait ’til saturday like everyone else 😉
That’s a lot of stuff, no dice but all of stuff and I’m guessing if warhammer 40K fan is going to buy this box there’s going to be a deal including dice
well looks like this is my way into 40k my son wants to play it…here comes the slippery slope
2020 is messed up … first we had Australia on fire, murder hornets, Covid 19 and Kanye West for president and now you @commodorerob are going to get into 40K!?!?!
I know totally messed up ?
So Justin does the unboxing…. I hope the brought enough towels for when he starts to drool 😉
He just uses his new blanket.
This looks fun! I’d like to finally have it in my hands
looks a great box.
The excitement is eating my metal bones
Are they making the figs out of a softer plastic? The sprues look different than other times. It’s a shame that the marines seem to all have attached shoulder plates. Gonna make it much more difficult to make them into Deathwatch or use any other Chapter specific shoulders. They should have designed them to be separate. Then made chapter packs of just shoulder pads.
Now what I really want to see is a set price. But, knowing GW, they’ll stir up the fervor and then choke us with it on Saturday. It’s sure, though, to be high enough for free shipping.
The price was confirmed last week – £125 if you buy direct from GW. I would assume OTT would be offering it with 20% off, making it £100 if you buy from them. Personally I can’t wait to pick one up on Sat.
For those of us in the USA……$200.00
Now I’m hearing GW is cutting the orders of US stores by 75% and thus all boxes they get in will be for walk-in sales only. Forcing everyone in the States to order from GW online.
Thank you, this was a very informative video! I’ve linked it in my article about the set: https://alkony.enerla.net/english/the-nexus/miniatures-nexus/miniature-related/miniature-set/warhammer-40-000-ed9-indomitus-set-for-warhammer-40-000-ed9-from-games-workshop-2020-wargame-and-miniature-set-review
Have the OTT guys ordered plenty of these up? Just querying as one store has reported that it has been allocated 1/3 of what it requested and is hence limiting the number of boxes to 2 per customer. I only want to buy 1.
I will order from OTT if I can cos I want to support the guys.
Really undecided on this. Some gorgeous models but some really ugly stuff too. Hate those bikes.
Definitely agree with Justin on unit star cards, they makr life much easier for FOW and Team Yankee, help with newbies and multi player games.
Seeing this at the top of the page just rubs it in that once again I missed out and it was all sold out by the time I logged in.
🙁
I hear my airbrush compressor going into overdrive!!! Hahahahaa. Want to these bad boys painted and on a gaming table ASAP
I’ve got small-ish forces for GSC, Skitarii, Necrons and a medium DW. So I’ll be set for a few options for the smaller combat patrols or KTs. My DW will be big enough to play full-sized games. Looking forward to an early codex!
