Ultramarines The Movie, Trailer Up
August 23, 2010 by warzan
Yup the trailer is up for Ultramarines The Movie
Worth checking out this time, although the trailer is short and gets off to a slow start there is at least some glimmers of coolness.
Yes its looking like a Dawn of War intro 🙂 - not quite as sharp though.
You can also view it here.
So what do you guys think? I suppose my take on this is its still too early to tell, but I have mixed feelings about this. I see real signs these days that the 40k universe is about to come alive - and we could well see a big budget outing coming from a large studio - my hunch is that this cgi movie is a proof of concept for one of two things:
1) Proove to the studios that the universe can be worked with and is ready for the big budget treatment.
2) See if the existing fan base would buy any old crap that's thrown at them and it turn into an adhoc product like the Audio Books.
You know there is also the possibility that GW just don't have any real clue how its going to pan out and are trying it because the intros do so well on Youtube.

“Death will find you soon enough” – is that the voice acting or just something the work experience kid threw in for a laugh?
Otherwise it looks fairly good. Oddly the visuals look to be eclipsed by the in-game footage from Space Marine already, but I suspect we’re not going to be watching this for the graphics.
a Very Nice voice cast for this, im not to impressed with the animation was hoping for more DoWII intro standard but still its a animated 40k film 🙂
Just me or did that look like ass… Lousy animation work and horrid shading/lightning effects.. too bad, could have been awsome 🙁
I second that. I would have wanted something along the lines of the assassins creed lineage movie, a mix of CG and real actors, the effects of that (if produced right) is just superb.
They should consult with Blizzard and ask how the movies in Starcraft 2 were made.
yea u forcnt that is how the hole thing will be but im going to wach it any way .
does any one know if it is going to therts or is it going to dvd first . oh and if it is going to thertes do you thing it will show in the u.s. .
Looks bad in my opinion, seen way more better looking cgi as shot films. Still, I will see it for the action.
I think that it looks pretty bad and I will most likely pass on this.
When the cutscene animation of Dawn of War I looks better than your 2010 fully computer animated film, you know you have failed on some level.
I’m still looking forward to Space Marine the Game, just not Ultramarines the Movie anymore.
The animation is so poor, it looks like LEGO 40k.
The studio that is on board with this film is the same studio that did the BIONICLE movies. So yes, it is Lego 40K.
I remember when the film was first announced, it was stated that Codex Pictures would be the studio producing it, with Codex’s main citations on their list of credits being Bionicle films. Needless to say, I looked up some Bionicle movie clips on YouTube and was pessimistic about how good the end quality of Ultramarines could be. The Bionicle movies look really bad. The quality of this trailer is such a let down when compared to the cinematics for Dawn of War; maybe THQ and Relic should have tapped into the movie industry?
Sadly I have to agree, I was really looking forward to this movie but the animation looks like they took a LEGO Bionicle movie and threw some space marine skins on it.
I do see dalekseth’s point, it appears they are going for a Clone Wars style of animation but I just don’t see how that cartoon fits with “the Grim Darkness of the 41st Millenium”
Its a pretty big letdown but who knows, I have been wrong before and the story and characters could well make up for the (poor?) choice in art style.
Hmmm, looks interesting and seems to be very similair to Star wars Clone wars, in terms of animation style, going for a stylized approach rather than a more realistic one.
Damn, if this really is all, then…….. damn :-\
I mean, DOW2 looks a lot better then this. The helmets are completly off, lights and shading are terrible….. I thought they would go allot further with this one. I hope it will improve, or that this could somehow be a fake trailer.
hmm…. disappointed at the quality of the character and effects quite frankly. As someone with experience in 3d cad, i know it can be a hell of a lot of complex work to make things look great, but surely they could have either gone a few steps further with this, or even just a few steps LESS and gone for a more comic book/cartoon style. Either would probably be better than this… =/
This look’s like an epic fail. I wanna cy 🙁
well..apart from the voice acting that was terrible.
If that is the final standard what a flop it will be.
I concur with the majority here, i’m quite shocked at the quality of resolution/rendering.
As opposed to the DOW2 intro which was superb in my books.
I’ve obviously been mistaken in my thinking that this was at least going to be on Parr if not superior to the DOW2 intro.
Mmm worrying :-I
Never mind DoW2, Down had had better graphics
what the hell was that, the cgi is worse than the scenes from final liberation. And the dialogue is pretty naff, I’m really hoping this movie vastly improves
It looks awful, which is a shame because the voice acting sounds excellent.
Wow! my first comment in BoW and its about my reaction to the epic fail of this trailer which I waited ages to see. There are 2 things which I deem important in a good CGI movie. First being good CGI, I hate to say but the trailers for DOW 1 and 2 look much better as well as the gameplay for the upcoming Space Marine game. Second is that it needs a good story like those from the Black Library, sadly this trailer shows nothing at all about any kind of story. Shouldn’t trailers are meant to give viewers an overview of the plot? One extra point I dread is the 2010 info, if this movie is meant to be release this year I means they will have no time to make changes even if they want to. Again this trailer is epic fail for me. I would likely be more interested if this is a trailer for a new Ultramarine codex.
Agree with you completely!
Not impressed, actually the Space marine game looks to have far superior graphics and its a game.
Looks like the graphics from Diablo 2 and judging by that It probably won’t be released worldwide in cinemas, or even cinemas at all, straight to DVD, which is fine with me. It should be a good movie regardless hopefully.
This movie was intended for DVD releas from the start.
I’m hoping this is a beta trailer designed to drum up talk on the internet coz if this is the final product… hey at least there was blood, right? Woulda been so pissed if the marines went down and love hearts and rainbows were spilling out of them to make the GW product more cuddly for the youngsters. :p
…I always felt that as long as Abnett was writing this + good voice cast it would be ok…..I’m not entirely sure anymore….
even despite the “lackluster” animation….the movie’s director seems to focus of very weird narrow angles and stuff. The whole time I was wondering “why the hell am I watching this?”
….nothing looks terribly interesting….there’s no attempt to show off the unique 40 environment…just liver spotted old men…and smurfs getting shot….and some big hard-on looking rock falling over…great way to get people’s attention…
I personaly think that they could off done a beter job of the animation and lighting of the space marines and i hope this isint the finished prodject because i think that the intro for dawn of war 2 is ten times beter than the animation for this trailer.
Looks clunky doesn’t it. Shame 🙁
I am so disapointed. The cgi look like somthing you would find in a game from the 90’s. I just hope that ‘aoiora’ is right, and this is just a cheap teaser.
If this is the final quality of the movie, then I am going to be royaly pst.
I totaly agree
This trailer is awful, it looks like a animatic to me (a pre-rendered sequence only used for timing purposes)
When this was first announced I had high hopes, but when the production company was announced I was a little sceptical. I work in London in the film and TV industry and I have never heard of them at all. I could be wrong but I think GW chose the wrong company to make this film its way out of their league.
A company like http://www.digicpictures.com/ would have been perfect
Yeah that would have been a good company for the Job especially considering the Warhammer work they have done.
I’ll second that.
Those are the guys that did the Warhammer Mark of Chaos cinematic? That scene looked amazing. I agree with you 100%.
they would have been perfect. their animation is fantastic, and they have experiance with warhammer. Why didn’t they do it?
Because high quality CGI cost too much ?
Oh dear, I do hope they have further rendering to do..
Shouldn’t that be rending or am I getting confused?
You’re getting confused 🙂 This is not genestealer.
Sigh… just… Sigh… that’s my reaction. I could make a comparison to the DoW like people have already done, but I’ll put it this way: The talking heads from fallout 2 had better graphics than that apotecharion or whoever that guy without the helmet was. Frickin’ Firewarrior for PC had better animation and models than this. Wonder what the story’s gonna be? Something as Important to the universe as the story of clone wars the movie?
i looked up the teaser trailer and it seemed to be a bit better quality. all hope is not lost.
I’ve seen that teaser, in fact I just rewatched it, thank you for reminding me of it. The quality of the teaser looks imo the same as the trailer, if only slightly better as you mentioned. Still, shouldn’t the quality of the film have improved from the teaser to the trailer, rather than the reverse? If they’re set on releasing this in 2010, they have about 4 months to improve, and I see no indication that they intend on doing so. That being said, Games Workshop I’m sure doesn’t want to look like fools when this is released to extreme criticism within their own core fan base, so we’ll wait and see what the future holds.
I´m with dalekseth: the film is like the Clone Wars. However, I prefer to wait until the movie is released. I only hope a translation to spanish…
Poor script writing (at least for this wee video), I mean “they are steel and they are doom”…is C S Goto the script writer? Or maybe Matt Ward was writing it one handed.
The animation quality looks very poor, even for a project of this size, which is rather small in the grand sceme of things compared to something like Final Fantasy Advent Children.
Really it is starting to look like they should have spent more of the money on writing and production values and maybe not put so much into getting some recognisable names on the cast list, I’m sure there are pleanty of decent cheap voice actors out there.
I could go on into the topic of xenophobic inhuman bio-engineered freaks which are unable to deal with emotion in any way other than violence being strange male rolemodels (and not very interesting characters) but that’s certainly something which GW’s Astartes have no monopoly on by a long shot.
Dan Abnett was the screenwriter if you can believe that
Actually I can as I’m not a massive Abnett fan.
At least not these days, when I was in my early/mid teens I loved his work, but now I’m older and considerably more well read he rarely does much for me unless specifically writing about something I find especially interesting (Eisenhorn/Titanicus).
I had to laugh, “the mightiest of them all, are the Ultramarines”…yet 90% of the actual footage that you can see them clearly has them pretty much getting totally owned!
As far as the quality goes, the fact it is CG means that a LOT can happen in a short space of time. I am totally pleased they did not try and do live action, that would have been terrible. It’s one of those things were you will have to reserve final judgment for when it is finally released. I hope it is good…..time will tell.
Has anyone noticed the dodgy song as well….this must be smoke and mirrors over the final outcome of the film….there is no way Dan abnett wrote the faecal matter spewing from my speakers ….they should have stuck to the note about the imperium that is at the start of every BL 40K book.
Also, why are the marines shooting at a random Butt-plug sticking out of some dodgily rendered rock. whilst all standing in some random order…you would have thought they would be in some form of formation instead of all looking like they were clay pigeon shooting out in the woods somewhere…..
I always thought the point of a trailer was to showcase how awesome a movie was going to be, not how badly done your CGI is. You get a damned good writer in Dan Abnett, you get some great voice actors and then produce graphics that bad? I am so disappointed right now :/
Also that trailer proves why people hate Ultrasmurfs Greatest of them all? This is why you don’t let Matt Ward near screenplays lol
lol
Sorry but it made me want to laugh.
Builds up all dramatic and slowly and then the Ultras get popped like targets at a fun fair.
Give the Xenos a goldfish!
And all in some of the poorest CGI seen.
I would hope for the sake of the fans that the animation is still in production and will massively improve by the time of release.
I’m concerned by the look of the helmet-less marine seen in the trailer.
He looks old and withered and weak. Nothing like what I imagine the bald screaming giants of the 40k-verse to look or sound like. It’s like someone’s grandad doing cosplay.
Not to mention that the Space Marines are immortal… I don’t think they age, do they? I guess he could’ve been recruited when he was old, but I sincerely doubt it.
Fortunately I was never that fussed about this film, and after seeing this I am glad I was not. Had I been anticipating it, that trailer would have hugely disappointed me.
The animations look horrendous, the actual landscape and scenery look horrible, and the music really annoyed me lol.
Looks really very, very poor. I was hoping for a movie with actors. I would love to see Mariusz Pudzianowski, Vin Diesel, Wesley Snipes and Fedor Emelianenko in power armours 😀
Plus – Ultramarines are the greatest of all Space Marines?? Buahahahaha 😀 Nice one! 😀
I’m sorry but with the technology thats now available this movie looks like it was made ten years ago. I’m not asking it to be Avatar but I swear Call of Duty 2 had in game graphics superior to this. The audio also seems hap-hazard. Character dialogue seems out of place, meaning that they’re in a wide-open area and it sounds like they’re talking in a phonebooth. Did they have to do a re-dub of all the dialogue. As far as foley is concerned, you would think a .75 caliber round would have more boom than clatter when it fires.
lol, damn. it looks like student work. i’ll still keep a bit of hope, maybe and could put aside the shit animation if the story is good.
Hugely disappopinted. The cinematic for Relic’s Space Marine looks infinitely better, even the cinematic for Dawn of War 2 looked better than this crud. Everything looks way to “clean”, and that marine looked way too old. Ridiculous.
Only Abnett’s writing has a chance of saving this now.
I hope thats not final product, the 30 second F.I.R.S.T. robotics safety animations have better quality than this does, and thats done by high school kids
And I was thinking they rip off on models so we can get decent movie.. Still I would love to see it for the story.
i love it when a trailer starts with a speech, but i think the reaæity of the guys is pretty lame, but still its fkn cool
Must be 4th Ed Space Marines, 5th Ed ones would be in cover…..
Sad day when the smoke effect is the best bit. Went to a gig like that once.
Biggest issue is that if this is awful it’ll put GW off trying again for a long time. Maybe next time they should look further than the name of the film company when choosing a partner. “Hey, we say codex too!” .
Just look at the fall out from Firewarrior. They’ll probably never touch first person shooters ever again, and I doubt they’ll ever do much non-Marine stuff either.
Very sad that there will probably never be modern remakes of the Space Hulk game or Final Liberation…on the other hand though perhaps that’s a good thing and stops the good memories being raped.
Terrible trailer, nothing in there to grab you and make you want to put your money down for a pre-order.
And I still can’t believe they’re sticking with those awful, OAP-looking, Marines. Absolutely terrible!
Space Marine – “To War, my brothers…..once I put my teeth in and grab my zimmer frame!”
fuckin mantic fanboys
Eh?
Looks crap but I’ll still end up buying it 🙁
What you have to remember about the intros for DOW1 & 2 and MOC is that they are only 2 mins long not requiring that much renedering time at that quality, where as this is a whole film with a set budget and i am guessing that the budget given to this won’t be that high since this is a first and the fact its straight to DVD. A whole film at that high level of quality would take a long time to render and require powerful machines, as it could wreck the computers if they have lower spec machines, example Devastator in Transformers, overheated and melted 15 computers for that once scene where he transforms while rendering. So the does come down to what hardware they have and how much of a budget they have been given. Also this company from what i understand has only done kids CGI which is stylized in a certain way(i know this cos CGI is what a i am studying) which is why i said it looks like Clone Wars. Trailer may have used older stuff, some companys do that. I am a CGI student. Let me ask this though, are you wanting to see the film for CGI or the Story? To me effects and cgi don’t have to be top notch so long as the story is good. Beast Wars/Beast Machines CGI was that good but it had a good story and is a very popular show.
From my experience creativity will always outshine hardware/software issues but also these days the tools to produce a good CG job are very easy to get hold of. So companies can not and should not blame hardware/software issues for a bad job.
Its not a great promotional trailer, the smoke effects are from a stock footage DVD and the text treatment at the end is amateurish and that’s not even taking in too account the animation.
My thoughts anyway.
For what it is it looks good. I’m sorry but your not going to get a Pixar quality film for this. Not that the people working on it aren’t talented, it just won’t have the same money and time put into it. There’s a reason why avatar took so long and cost so much. I say enjoy it for what it is. 🙂
Ultramarines? The greatest of them all? Can’t said I agree with that. Unless its in regards to who can bore the enemy the most.
Ok, what to say about this trailer?? It is a bit underwhelming. The CG can defenitely be better, but you have to bare in mind that this is a feature film an not a game intro. In DOW and other games you put a lot of effort in the intro because that is the fist Impression that you make to the customer. If they were so cheap to make DOW would be full of rendersequences but they switched to a Comic look or ingame graphics. But I think thats not the real problem of this trailer. The real Problem is that we again see nearly nothing of the movie. Instead of Cutting together a realy cool trailer with a variety of scenes, a bit of story a bit of action, we hear one short dialogue, some shooting at !!!Buildings!!! and a bit of blood. Hello? If you want to interest someone in your flim, you have to give something interresting! Instead they do the typical secrecy shit GW does and that doesn´t work with movies. I don’t care if the CG is top notch as long as the Movie is fun to watch and not as exciting as Ironing socks.
Well…..
I can’t say im surprised.
Sure it takes a lot more time and resources to make a movie than intro, but there have been countless of CGI movies before that looks much better, Final Fantasy: The spirits within looks a lot better, and that movie is nine years old! I won’t even compare it to 2005’s FF movie Advent Children.
oh dear, I thought the CGI might actualy be good, but now i’m just dissapointed. Shouldn’t have got my hopes up.
Yeah but remember square enix have been doing cgi for a long time before spirits within and advent with the final fantasy games, There are one of the best in the business if not the best. so i think it is a little unfair comparing a company that to my knowledge has only done a couple of kids cgi movies to a giant like square enix. I am personal am going to wait until the movie is done, before i pass any judgement on it, because i think cannot tell from the trailer wether it will be good or not. I also live by the rule of not to judge a book by its cover.
But you’ve opened the book, and read a few pages. That’s the point of the trailer. There’s no need to make excuses for what is turning out to be an utter failure thus far. When Games Workshop sets out to do something, they almost always do it right. They carefully guard their intellectual property, aware that they are not the most popular company and that everything they do is a reflection on their entire business. When they make miniatures, they do so to the highest standard possible, using advanced techniques that cost a lot of money. When they make video games, they usually ensure that they are playable, enjoyable, and accessible, especially with DoW. When they produce novels through the Black Library, they always try to find great writers who will bring their universes to life in entertaining ways. When they fail to live up to their own standards, we have a right to criticize. So if they felt the needed to create a movie, then they should do it right. Its the precedent they set for themselves. I was expecting a film of the same quality as the cutscenes from their video games. They set a standard, and they did not live up to it. They should not have released the trailer in such a sub par quality, they know they can do better, and Warhammer 40,000 deserves better. That being said…I do appreciate your optimism. 🙂
All I’ve got to say is that it needs some big budget loving. This low budget animation looks like a bad ’04 video game… Anyway, I’ll be watching it to see how Abnett’s story holds up. If the storyline’s good, I’ll demand some big budget help for a sequel or separate movie.
this shouldnt be the final quality. i think this is just a pre render to give us a small taste of what is to come. and its looking sweet.
love the john hurt intro. so epic.
crappy graphics, horrid lighting and well like was said at the start, dawn of war had better graphics for the starting movie.
compared to the movie elements in the latest Dawn of War this is crap!
straight to VHS movie or what are they aiming for?
when people expect a animated movie based on a game they thing the FF movies and the great cinematics in a blizzard game. this looks fan made.
Well that gives a lot away doesnt it!
Looks terrible.
Any movie that focuses on space marines of any chapter will suck. Im not a hater of the guys, its just in a movie format it will never apeal to the masses. Why is that you might ask. Its because faceless charicters (full helmet marines) just can’t be relatable to people. You can’t grow a bond to care for them. It would have been better to have it revalve around the imperial guard as people can relate better with them.
the DOW2 intro looks better then this, come on GW 20 years and this is the best u came up with?
I will watch it, but I will not pay for it. GW should go for it, God damn! How many people collect their minis? How many copies of DoW and DoW II did they sell? Now we have W40k: Space Marine, that will almost certainly be a massive hit. GW should make a huge, badass 2h Pixar quality movie and release a W40k MMO for PS3 and X-box 360. They would earn sick cash, but obviously, they would have to invest some serious money in it. With such low-budget productions like the one they are doing they have much greater chances to lose money, than to gain it.
Is anyone else sick of GW making Ultramarines this and Ultramarines that? Come ON!!! There are way better things in the 40k universe than the Ultramarines….
Liked the voices and the music….not so keen on the animation. Hopefully they can update the models and re render
Ultimately, this is a pile of utter disappointment. I’m not going to compare it to game intoductions, nor the biggest budget CGI films. However, I am currently in filming a fully greenscreen film, in which everything shall be changed to the same style as Sin City. The film is free an dbeing done by students and the models already look better and we’re not even done filming yet (they won’t finish building the models until after that point either).
The film claims all sorts of nonsense, such as “Ultramarines are the best”. Calling them steel and doom sounds child-minded at best. The old Space Marine looks more fragile than Terence Stamp (no offence to him, but as a Space Marine, he is very frail) in human-form. A bunch of smoke with a few shadows does nothing for anyone, there’s no info on the storyline (I prefer it when it’s like a prologue, but this didn’t say ANYthing about it) and, lastly, these supposedly “Ultra” marines, that are the “best” of the superhuman warriors, do nothing except fo rget shot. The last ‘scene’ of the trailer is the Ultramarine standard bearer getting shot once and dying, falling over: that makes you want to see the whole film, where these guys are supposed to be unbeatable.
Lastly: I agree that Ultramarines are bland in the best situations, but that’s not the problem with the film. It feels like a worse effort than the original company’s work on Warhammer Online. They spent their entire budget on the few things that they showed to the public and did nothing else, except in this situation, they spent all of the money on great voice talents.
I’d have rather that they spent it on mediocre or even amateur voice actors. I could do the job well enough for this! Admittedly, I’m trying to break into the profession, but anybody able to manipulate their voice would do, especially if it meant more money on increasing the look of the film. It is currently in the state of animations from the early to mid 90’s.
I agree that story is more important than visual, but there was nothing to even hint at a plot and the visual is so poor by today’s standards that it makes you feel unable to pay attention.
Sorry to all for the rant, but it’s sub-par at it’s best point.
What makes me laugh is “the Greatest of them all, the Ultramarines.” Now that is so funny the Ultramarines couldn’t fight them selves out of a paper bag. LMAO
I am sorry to say that I think that this looks well… kak. I bet the story will be as simple as can be as in enemy= kill, a couple of main characters die etc. and come on guys at codex, the DOW 2 trailer/startup movie has higher quality graphics than this, and especially in an age when CGI is as good as in Avatar and the LOTR films. I am sorry to say that I won’t be watching this, and I doubt it will even make it to the cinema… But apart from that it looks okay.
The voice acting isn’t too bad, but everything else…kind of is. Unimpressive rendering and animation, a trailer which shows nothing exciting or even interesting, and irksome inaccuracies in the brief background speech – Ultramarines arn’t any better than any other chapter….
Lets hope they really surprise us, because judging by this, the film is going to be poor.
eh it looks kinda corny. I mean the trailer for the ultramarines video game had better graphics than this
I hate to say it, but I really disliked the sound, music and even voicing in this. Maybe it’s just that it’s not yet edited fully, but good lord. The narrator was fine, but the character speaking sounded like a dude talking into a microphone. The last bit of dialog actually sounded more like a dude mumbling into a microphone. Unemotional, flat, boring.
There are random guys who live in their mothers’ basements that put up better quality stuff on YouTube. Let us hope against hope that some miracle occurs between now and the release date.
To be honest I never expected this to look as good as the DOW2 so I’m not surprised that the quality isn’t great. I would also imagine that the budget for this film isn’t very much, (in fact, probably the same Relic spent on just making their 2 minute long opening trailer!) you get what you pay for, especially with CGI. I’m going to take it for what it is, a tester to see how hungry fans are for fantasy or 40k movies with huge gains if it succeeds and not much of a loss if it flops. I seriously think too many people had expectations that were far too high. The whole “Ultramarines are the best” talk actually makes sense since this is narrated by an Ultramarine, of course he is going to say his chapter is the best!
I’ve watched this trailer a few times now (once finished I restarted it again) and I think the animation is better than I first thought, I’m probably the only one that thinks that though…
it is not good. movies nowadays try to outmatch each other in detail, technical skill and direction, this certainly dose not make such an attempt!.
for example: the space ship in the first scenes (the big one) is obviously low count in polygons, spaceball one from spaceballs looked more believable!
they should contact the guys who did the dawn of war 1 video.
You people that think this movie was good spend way too much time hiding from daylight in your mom’s basement playing tabletop. This movie was TERRIBLE. TERRIBLE. Its so god damn bad, I don’t even know where to start. You’ve done hit the crack pipe one to many times if you think there is ANYTHING positive to say about this film.
First off, jesus christ, did anyone (anyone at all) research anything before making this film? I mean, could you maybe have had someone over at codex pictures actually do a little research about military formations, how squads move, how the 40k universe works, etc? How about the dumb ass marines walking around corners and through doorways with their bolters mag clamped to their legs! Really? I mean really? A space marine? Someone who’s fed tactical moves their whole life…..
Then, the story sucked. Dan should stick to writing books, because I’m pretty sure you could read the 12 year old special Olympics sci-fi short story challenge and find better story lines. I mean seriously, I thought Dan would be your only saving grace, but christ this story line sucks. They go to a planet, kill a couple bad guys, a demon tries to come back to their homeworld? Christ, seriously, that’s it?
The graphics consistently looked about as sexy as the fat girl that lives at the end of the block. I mean, I play video games on my blackberry that looks better than the crap you’ve cooked up.
Sound was terrible, completely one dimensional. Bolter fire sounds like someone was shooting a .22 a half-mile away. Really, was your sound guy deaf? We are all just curious.
You guys had a chance to really move warhammer to mainstream with this and you’ve epically, I mean epically, failed. And you the 40k fanboys need to put the god damn pipe down and be sure not to spout this off to family and friends already not familiar with the 40k universe. This will TURN PEOPLE AWAY, who are not already part of the fan base. And they’ll probably call you a nerd to boot (which you deserve if you found this movie anything above a D-).
Don’t waste your money on this movie! If you really want to see it, find some who idiot who did waste their money and watch theirs. I’d ask for my money back, but this movie is so damn bad that the thought of dealing with it anymore makes me throw up in my mouth.
-Sincerely Pissed off 40k fan.
