T’au Hunt Titans In Forge World’s New Tiger Shark Variant
October 23, 2017 by dracs
Over at Forge World, the T'au are busy strapping even bigger guns to their aircraft as the Tiger Shark AX-1-0 goes up for pre-order.
The Tiger Shark AX-1-0 is a variant on the T'au flyer that has been kitted up in order to hunt down Imperial Knights, Titans, and any other such heavy tank that gets in its way.
To do this, the T'au have stripped it of its usual drone racks and ion cannon, replacing them with two heavy rail cannon and a seeker missile array.
The Tiger Shark is already a formidable flyer, looking so sleek you can easily imagine the tearing sound of the air as it soars over the battlefield.
This new variant, with its large weapons, looks a little unbalanced, but does promise a useful combination of mobility and fire power.
It pretty much epitomises the T'au mindset; it looks fragile, but its firepower is so strong that, to it, everything else is pretty fragile too.
Will you be bringing one of these into your army? What are your thoughts on the model?

I have always liked FW Tau flyers over GW one and this Tiger Shark variant is no different.
Clearly it needs bigger guns..
Makes me wish Aeronaugtica was still a thing.
I feel you buddy – Aeronautica Imperialis was/is vastly underrated. It’s a fantastic game!
Ooo a monster of a flying machine for the table.
That thing should nicely perforate any stubborn superheavies that don’t get the hint from lesser firepower.
Nice flyer and that’s a brilliant paintjob. I love that light touch with the weathering.
Sheesh… you could sercve dinner on that thing
