Check Out The Stylish Primaris Intercessor Action Figure
September 26, 2019 by brennon
Games Workshop has shown off a new preview of the Primaris Intercessor Action Figure from Bandai for those that want another bit of the Warhammer 40,000 world in their house.
The model stands at 8” tall and is collectable-grade posable (oooh, fancy new phrase) with over fifty points of articulation allowing you to set up your Space Marines in all sorts of cool ways. The model has also been painted to match the world of Warhammer 40,000 with him being part of a 3rd Battleline Squad of the 2nd Company.
Pre-orders for the new Primaris Intercessor Space Marine will go live next month and it could prove to be a great option for those that want to buy a different present for their friends.
I could see this being a rather figure fun to play around with. I could see one adorning the top of my PC tower and being a custodian over my portal into the webway. If this goes down well then I would imagine that Bandai are going to be working on more action figures for the grimdark future.
What do you think?

Toy Story 40k? I can see this as a template for someone doing 40k props and cosplay. But other than that… naaaah, not mine.
Neat toy, but just upscaling a 28mm model to be an action figure reveals how flat the armor is.They should’ve added more details imo, to keep it on par with other lines in terms of detailing.
Poks, good point. When I raised the topic of Space Marine Action Figures a while back, I suggested Hot Toys should be the licenced manufacturer as jaw-dropping detail on action figures are their speciality. They certainly wouldn’t have put the idea through the mass production blander like Ban Dai.
Hope the final product is sans the 3D print lines and the skull on the helmet is better painted. I’ll wait for the Plague Marine version!
If the photos from ToyFair show the finished product, it’s actually completely unpainted and you’ll be able to paint it however you wish. This was just an example of how it would look when painted.
So, now they are just a toy shop! I wouldn’t dare.
…you do know that miniatures are just a fancier version of little green army men, right? Besides, the hobby is for people of all ages; stuff like the action figures and kid-focused books may seem ridiculous, but they’re good for getting a younger audience interested in 40K and AoS.
Tru dat
The potential for conversion and custom paint jobs will be limitless. Bring on the purple publishers!!!!!! For the emperor!!!!
Besides…sideshow I believe did a line like this year’s ago…
I thought they were doing an unpainted one as well?
I believe they still are.
giant smurf!!! meh!!!! want the Rout!!! for the Allfather!!!!
does look cool, might be the thing to get my kids away from poxy LOLs
ooooh just checked out the GW site, very cool 360 of it, does look like a pimped out Buzz lightyear. Zurg wouldn’t stand a chance.
But I really want a 12″ Grey hunter
Nice, one please.
Smart Marketing another tool to get people into the hobby. When looking at the big picture it can only be a good thing. We are now seeing an age where people playing historicals came from warhammer which they discovered from playing dawn of war 🙂
These primaris marines keep getting bigger and bigger and bigger…… At some point they’ll be filled with so much heresy they’re just going to explode…… Like some did in the 21st founding……
