Games Workshop dropped another preview for Warhammer: The Horus Heresy this week. The forces of both the Imperium and Chaos are going to be getting themselves some additional aid in the form of the Sky-hunter Scimitar Jetbikes!

These Scimitar Jetbikes are a call back to an older Imperium where the general Space Marine could call on impressive vehicles like these. They are going to be very sought after by the likes of the White Scars who love roaring across the battlefield with the aid of these powerful pieces of kit!
Each of these Scimitar Jetbikes can be armed with a Heavy Bolter but they can be upgraded to slot a Volkite Culverin into the mix, a Multi-Melta or a Plasma Cannon. So, these Jetbikes can be used to hunt infantry or vehicles depending on what you need in a given battlefield scenario.
The additional awesome thing about these miniatures is that they are going to be plastic! Watch out for this set of three dropping later this year.
Could you be tempted by some Scimitar Jetbikes?

I don’t play this game but I’m increasingly tempted to paint some of these
Oddly I’m tempted by these as a possibly more cost-effective way to run heavy bolter or multi-melta equipped Land Speeder squadrons in my 40k lists….
Those look really good. These most make White Scars players and Dark Angels players happy.
Ooh nice.
They are too long for my tastes so I’m planning on cutting them down, removing a couple of those coil bits at the front. I’m also hoping I can lower the bonnet slightly so the driver can see over the top without looking like an OAP peeking over their steering wheel. As I’m gunna use them as Bullocks Jet-Cycles for Rogue Trader I’ll switch out the heavy bolter for a couple of bolt guns…the Wolf Time beckons!
These are really cool
