Warhammer: The Horus Heresy also got a little bit of a preview as part of the Adepticon coverage. A new book, The Siege Of Cthonia, is the return of Games Workshop's Black Books for Warhammer: The Horus Heresy and charts the fate of the Warmaster's home planet.

You will be able to play as both Traitors and Loyalists as they fight to control the world of Cthonia over a series of scenarios. There will be new miniatures for the Sons Of Horus and the Imperial Fists plus ways for you to introduce splinter elements of other factions too.

Additionally, you are also able to dive into a new set of Zone Mortalis missions which have been built for the new edition of the game. This steps into the breach and helps sure up the Zone Mortalis rules that were made available earlier in the life cycle of the new game. Some fun stuff awaits for this book and we'll see more very soon I would imagine!
Which way will fate twist when the Siege Of Cthonia ends?

A good looking new book.
The 10th edition is interesting news. The Terminators are glorious. The Seraphon look great.
This book will be very good, and expand the fluff.
Yet. I know this is incredibly selfish, but am I alone in hoping for more in the releases? Maybe the Javelin? The Storm Eagle? Ah, I am spoiled and complaining I can’t have the chocolate doughnut when I’ve been handed the toffe icing one.
to this day I cannot understand why the Imperial Fists are the poster boys of HH.
They did nowt until the last few books!
