Recreate Titus’ Tyranid Clashes In Warhammer 40K: Kill Team
December 5, 2024 by brennon
Games Workshop might have been late to the Space Marine II party but they are making up for it now with more content themed around the hit video game. Lieutenant Titus will be available at Warhammer stores this weekend and the team behind Kill Team has been working on a cooperative scenario for you to play in the world of Warhammer 40,000 too.
Lieutenant Titus // Warhammer 40,000
The miniature for Lieutenant Titus has been locked away inside boxed sets and all sorts but he will finally be available as an individual miniature from the 7th December. As well as getting Titus, you can also get a £10 voucher with his purchase so, maybe enough to buy the bottom half of a new Chaplain. Anyway, with Titus becoming more readily available, Games Workshop's Kill Team designers put together a new mission for you to play.
Lieutenant Titus Mission Pack // Warhammer 40,000
This mission pack allows you to play out a clash where Titus and his companions come up against a Tyranid swarm. On one side you have Titus, Gadriel and Chairon (you'll need to kitbash together his companions). On the other side, you have enemies from the video game like Hormagaunts, Termagants, Warriors and even a deadly Lictor.
This mission is a cooperative affair so you'll be working together in order to take down the Tyranid foes arrayed against you. The addition of cooperative Operations to Kill Team is great and certainly opens up the door for more people to start enjoying the game.
Tyranid Hunt // Warhammer 40,000
Equally, this might be a fun hobby project for you to consider diving into. I like the idea of getting the characters for Titus and friends ready alongside the relevant Tyranids (maybe by using Combat Patrol issues) and then building a thematic board like the one above. John did something similar with his latest project and I think it would be a cool way to make a "game in a box" for Space Marine II.
You can download the new Kill Team Mission for yourself and get stuck into a clash between Titus and his Tyranid foes right now.
Will you be giving this a go?
