I think would prefer shorter project vlogs like this or perhaps a bit longer with the live streams being for either separate projects or key chunks – so maybe “today I am doing a squad of inf for xxx project” rather than showing the painting in a vlog. I typically watch these in the 5-10 mins before shutting down while I’m waiting for back-ups to run so short punchy is great or I gt shouted at for being late home! I also can’t always make the live streams and deffo not the whole of them so if I want to… Read more »
Just vlogs. Livestreams are long and happen during work. It isn’t often that I can take time to follow the livestreams. Vlogs are a nice way to keep up.
I like the shorter VLOGs.
Sorry I’ve been absent on this one for a while but going back and watching these has given me some great ideas. Love the Tank. I’ve neglected mine though for LOTR and SW Legion. Too many games!!!!!
I think vlog and stream serve different purposes and occasions. Blog updates are nice to see as news flash snippets with a few hints and pointers thrown in, while streams are good to paint along to (either live or from archive). So for major projects like this, having both works well in my view.
I like the shorter vlogs – but think a large project benefits from 1 or live streams to go into detail about a key process – my suggestion 1 live stream per every 15-20 to blogs.
This is an incredible and inspirational project, I really don’t want it to end – so I am dreaming of you coming back to it do some re-inforcements – maybe some converting some extra character models in the future….
Talking of characters I should write some more lore..
Great to see that the rear parts were already painted 😀 it just looked ood. Love the rust effect, it gives a great effect.
Live streams are nice, but I cannot watch them as often as I ‘d like (live at least). Maybe preplanning them as a content than can be edited and cropped in smaller chunks?
up dates are great short or long to suit your schedule john as its to keep everyone up to speed with the figures.
the short blogs are great for updates and tips etc. but the live steams are there for us to join in with you while your working and i feel like we don’t have to watch all the steam live. see it as a chat room with 1 person using video. also i enjoy listening back to the archives while i paint. is there a way that any tips or the live up dates could be edited into a short vlog. or simply have time stamps for the tips, updates etc, added to the archived steam so people can jump to… Read more »
I would like vlogs for the projects and then live streams on something else.
