Very cool. I have to get some transfer paper my self now.
And design my own logo.
Do you need to put varnish on it if you use a laserprinter??
Is an laser printer better/quicker?
No, the paper is made for inkjet and laser. The varnish is what holds the print together when it comes off the paper 🙂
Well I have always talked about in my streams about how transfers are a real skill and here we are looking at them as a real skill.
But honestly I didn’t doubt your ability on this I was wondering if you could get to a bit more feedback on the feedback particularly the basing because there were a lot of comments in that one.
I will make a video on it this week 🙂
Sweet thanks, man 😀
And if it wasn’t already clear your transfers are really good I have so much trouble with them.
I do hope you come to this project John I absolutely love it and really would love to see it finished.
Keen to make an attempt at doing transfers myself some day. I like freehand, but sometimes if you want some quality symbols / logos etc. with some proper uniformity it can be too difficult.
Good video, the project is going really well IMO and you will have to get them into a batrep once it’s all done.
very nice they look fabulous on the models.
You do realize that the T-shirt setting is just to make it print a mirror image so that when ironed on any letters/words will be the right way round. On your original art you have roman numeral 5 while on the decal it now reads 4 and the eagle is facing the other direction. It’s still way cool though!
So apparently they’re the Fourth Brigade, now?
Prussinians are moving up in the galaxy it seems.
you made that look so easy… im impressed. you have taken some of the fear away of trying DIY transfers. but i struggle putting bought transfers on. how small a transfer have you tried? as i would like to get some 3mm nordic runes for a project. can seem to find what i want.
I’m really impressed by how well those work. I’m not normally a huge fan of transfers but the option to customize and make them your own has certainly piqued my interest. Cool stuff.
Just catching up on the videos. What Transfer paper did you use for this? Thanks
