Good old Mr John! I remember seeing this the first time round, and I liked his darker version of space wolf armour, it fits them more like the artwork of them does.
Get him to do the odd video now and then. I’d buy that for a dollar! Err, or Backstage Pass, as it were. 😛
John could get some of the proceeds from Backstage as an incentive and to help pay for his booze at uni, lol. 🙂
We miss John and we would love to see him back.
I miss John! I would love to see him back!
But then Romain is also amazing, and I love his painting tutorials… so why not put them together? He will be called Ron… or Jomain.
One of the best videos (series) on BoW ever. It’s just a great intro to basic painting techniques with stunning results.
I was never a fan of the baby blue wolf colour. Always pictured wolves as black, brown or ash gray. So it only makes sense to paint the guys that use wolves as a trade mark in the colours of real wolves.
Also he is so right about needing patience to do models. If that is all someone gets from this video, good for them as its a trait hard to keep.
I remember watching this tutorial when it was first uploaded and used it for my own space wolves. Unfortunately I couldn’t find one of the soft brushes from the second video (The one used for the Drybrush / Highlight). Does anyone know where I can get one?
great torturial and keep up the good work. i just has a silly question. that painting jig you use, wher did you get that ?
