Games Workshop is getting prepared for 31st October and Warhammer Day. Whilst there are no real plans from them they've added it should be an excuse for you to paint, hobby, read, listen and play within the worlds of Warhammer and generally have a good ol' time. Oh, and they're releasing a new miniature to celebrate the day.Terminator Chaplain Tarentus - Warhammer 40K

This new miniature for Terminator Chaplain Tarentus can be used by any Space Marine Chapter including the Deathwatch and the Grey Knights and gives you another chance to bring the fury of The Emperor to your enemies.

This miniature will be available both online and through Warhammer stores from the beginning of Warhammer Day all the way through to 8th November. So, if you're looking for a new option to throw into the mix with your Space Marines then this could well be a good shout.

I have always liked Chaplains and thought they were some of the most badass of all the Space Marines. Tarentus is no different and I like what they've done here; especially with the proper leering skull as a helmet. If I had my way I'd have a seriously brutal-looking Chapter made up of Chaplains and their grim attendants.

Warhammer Preview - Gridiron & Glory

As well as an event at the end of the month you can also check out a new Warhammer Preview this weekend. Firing up on Saturday 17th October you'll be able to find out more about what Games Workshop has planned.

The focus this time around is going to be on Blood Bowl, Warhammer Underworlds and Warcry so if you prefer these smaller-scale games then you might want to tune in. It's always quite neat seeing what they have to show off and also hearing from some of the people behind the miniatures and games too.

Are you tempted by the new miniature and will you be tuning in for the Warhammer Preview?
