August 8, 2022 by brennon
Games Workshop has previewed the new Khorne Berserkers that are going to be coming to the tabletop soon for Warhammer 40,000. The World Eaters are going to be looking particularly swish with their new melee monsters!

This is one of the new Khorne Berzerkers that is going to be following the mighty Angron into battle. This is quite the nice upgrade over the old Khorne Berzerkers who were very wooden and awkward by comparison.

Now, whilst I appreciate the additional movement and dynamism to the sculpt, I would really like to see something akin to the "meme" that is Wally appear in some way within the new kit. I would really like to see this grinning and daemonic warrior return with a brand new mask that is full of evil intent.
The Khorne Berzerkers have deserved an upgrade for a while now and it would be neat to see where things expand as the World Eaters Codex starts to arrive on tabletops.
What do you make of the new miniature?

Khorne Flakes…
A vast improvement. I wonder if they are as modular as the older models or more like the newer less modular Primaris. Probably the latter.
Most likely those are less modular type like all modern 40k miniatures.
Those look really nice.
Yes, yes.. blood for the Blood God and skulls for the Skull Throne. It all really is pretty boring when considering a great big galaxy of delightful heresy possible when you pay homage to the Lord of Smut.
Blood for the Blood God great figures.
looks better – but much like the original – doesn’t exactly look “berserk” does he? Just a standard looking Chaos Space Marine with a Khorne flavour.
Lovely and not over the top. Sadly will be mono-pose instead of the multi-part, modular multi-pose models of yesteryear, but for Beserkers I think that’s actually, for once, OK.
£40 for ten though. Watch it happen.
