Games Workshop, after a raft of leaks and such this week, dropped the full Core Rules PDF for you to dive into if the new edition of Warhammer 40,000 has caught your eye.

The Core Rules come in at around twenty or so pages so there isn't a lot to get your head around. There are a few tweaks here and there to symbology and such but from what I've heard, this set of rules seems to have gone down well with a lot of folks. The proof will be in the pudding of course but there will be games aplenty being played over the coming weeks no doubt.

As well as the release of the Core Rules, you can also take a look at some of the less fuzzy teasers that popped up for the Space Marines and Necrons. The Space Marines get themselves the Hammerfall Bunker.

This reminded Lloyd and Warren of the big turrets that you could set onto the map during games of Dawn Of War back in the day. They might look a little awkward perhaps, especially with the flamers around the outside, but overall I think that it could be a nice option for someone making a very "deep strike" heavy force.

On the side of the ancients, you will also be able to pick up the Convergence Of Dominion which can be deployed by you to the battlefield.

These large obelisks can help buff your units and also use their Translocation Protocols to blip your Necrons across the battlefield to where they are needed most. I do like the look of them, almost clad in stone and turned into statues and curiosities which may have been forgotten over the years.
